Gojo turning infinity off when carrying Geto’s body, pointlessly hoping for some warmth, some fragment of life left to feel. When he warps to the chosen burial site, the molecules around him heat — just a fraction — and he can almost convince himself of a false reality.

He squeezes his eyes shut, so hard he sees stars worming through the dark, and it forms the shape of another’s cursed energy.

Reality can wait.
