(how original) maybe one day i'll make a cute lil TS4 UI-style intro about myself but for now:

im one of those simmers with a love/hate relationship with ts4, and also my gaming laptop has an even more tumultuous love/hate dynamic with the game so there's that.

deeply admire those of you who can play multi-gen saves, complete challenges, create and edit and share sim stories, but i am simply Not one of you. i spend most of my time in cas and then end up unhappy with the results, yay!!! i also like making lists and charts and spreadsheets and family trees, and trying to cram lore and relationships from past iterations of the sims into TS4 without losing my mind~

game & mods/cc were absolutely obliterated by the latest patch and i've truly lost the enthusiasm to try and piece that shit back together, so im cleaning the slate and just uninstalling ts4 for a while, til im next taken by the urge/obsession to lose some days or weeks or a couple months in it. might check in on this blog and my dash and mutuals here from time to time, but it's not a guarantee. have fun and take care of yourselves!! x dag dag! i had an older version of srsly's blank save file & saw that the only up-to-date version is on CF, but because i cleared out the newest worlds and sims for myself, would anyone want me to upload that somewhere?

im not on SFS so i'd need an invite or whatever, but I have a google account just for sims stuff so everything's llamallagoon uniform lol, so could do that, or idk just share it with one person who DOES have a more established platform for sharing DLs and let them put it up?

time for some regularly scheduled grumbling!!! today, about how destination worlds should just be fully inhabitable! and also a newly discovered (by me) thing to grumble about: werewolves came with all that implied lore about the 2 packs and greg or whoever and made 2 plot-relevant (i guess) community lots so there are THREE ??!?!!!??? 3 TOTAL ?!!!?? residential lots in moonwood mill??????? i know that's p standard for a game pack but still :/ that was the world i was like "ok this can stand in for granite falls" but I GUESS NOT, jesus (i know there's a mod to make destination worlds residential but i always seem to run into problems trying to travel ANYWHERE in game when i have it installed so)

anyway, reason for my woodsy-based complaints below the cut~~

still need to decide how i want to format the series of Proper Posts TM (makeovers, remakes, whatever), and what/where to add text etc on the images, but ......... Kurt Lumberjackson makeover !!! by way of @/aliengirl's #BeautifulBodies AND #AntiSameFaceSyndrome CAS challenges

maybe i'll turn a henford-on-bagley lot into a residential rental (jk im turning basically every residential lot into a rental so that they can all house at LEAST 2 households. i haven't touched any of the other for rent gameplay or even the world yet - i live in cas leave me alONE - but upping the population count per world, per neighbourhood, per lot ????? gamechanging !!!!) and he can share a lot with those elderly gays in that woodsy area idk. or copperdale has a wooded area i think

he looks like someone.... idk if it's another sim or some character from another game or some feature is reminding me of a celeb I DON'T KNOW i can't figure it out but new!Kurt seems weirdly "familiar" now that im looking at all the cas screenshots

quick CAS touch-ups before I play the Gomes household for a bit, so I can ~get to know them~ a little before I commit to a full makeover (thanks to @saytrtiara's suggestion/request), but when I loaded them up in Live Mode they all had ugly additional randomised outfits on and I simply had to fix that. added a couple of cc facial details, liked tziporah's outfit but not the purple, something in me demanded she needed glasses, im not happy with this outfit on radwan but i like it more than his default everyday look idk, and just changed zelmirah's makeup basically. i haven't really touched ravenwood or any L&D sims yet , but have just been on the wiki & seeing the extended gomes family includes a trans man, non-binary teen, and old-timey non-binary ghOST ??!! ok !!!! idk if im gonna enjoy much of the gameplay because it's all pretty occult-heavy but oh well!

idt this will be her final form but now that I've finally got my mods folder sorted and i can play without the Unfunctionally Pregnant bug, Im just playing around with Fern (can't get the fuckin nature event to even trigger in this new save, which was half the point of making her lmao ANYWAY) she got an anonymous call from a 'secret admirer' and i was like yeah okay whatever....and L. showed up at her door and i was like No....ur great but they made u So Ugly, i can't let the 2 of u interact without a makeover intervention first... ???

they gave her the Mean trait so i like to think she's, like, into Mischief magic not for hehe silly funny reasons but because that and some dabbling in Untamed can ruin relationships and jobs and lives and she's, yknow, a lil bit of a sadist, gets a bit of a kick out of all that.

as much as i hate the "dual forms" of most occults, in this case i kinda wish spellcasters had the option bc i think this is close to fine for ... Ah Yes, Formal Coven Meeting in The Magic Realm, or Diplomatic Trip to Innisgreen/Forgotten Hollow (she'd rather die than go to that filthy doghouse Moonwood Mill, and Sulani's sunshne would incinerate her on the spot), etc etc. but she needs a vampire-style Dark Form to show off the otherworldly and inhuman scope and effects of her magic, her power !!

she's a lesbian because in any and every save i've ever encountered her in, she's only ever autonomously flirted/back successfully with female sims without me ever touching her orientation in cas so. evil sexy lesbian immortal witch. u get it.

The 2 Walshes are now sisters... and I'm debating whether to turn Annie Welsh (Toddler Stuff) into Annie Walsh and fit her into the family somehow, too. (Also wanting to do something about how wildly different their first names feel, but changing names really adds a whole other layer of complications to making over townies, so idk.)

Haven't made any changes to Fauna at this stage, but spent some time reworking Darling... I think I'm happy? But we'll see.
