Today a new update has been released on the website. Here’s a closer look at everything that was added.

For premium subscribers:

✦  New avatar shapes Two new avatar shapes are now available: a wavy circle and a wavy rectangle. Choose the one that fits your style best.

✦  Displaying deceased characters — a new customization section Tired of the same black-and-white photos in your family trees? A new block called “Displaying a deceased” has been added to the customization section, where you can choose an alternative way to mark them. For now, we’ve added one option: a black ribbon over the avatar. More variations are planned for future updates.

Updates for all users:

✦  Photo upload grid When uploading an avatar, a grid now appears to help you center the image precisely on the first try. No more re-uploading the same photo multiple times to get the right position.

✦  New social media fields in the author profile Want readers to find you elsewhere? New social media fields have been added to the author card — simply fill in the ones that are relevant to you.

✦  New relationship type — “Imaginary Friend” You can now represent these special connections in your dynasty tree just like any other relationship.

✦  Close windows with the Esc key Used to closing windows with Esc like in the game? Now it works on the website as well. This key is now supported for all modal windows.

✦  Open trees with the middle mouse button From the “My Trees” section you can now open trees in a background tab — simply click Edit with the middle mouse button. Very convenient when you want to open several trees without closing the main page.

Main menu replacement - v.117, SimMattically compatible!

Well, the 1.117 update brought us not only new skin details and broken mods, but also an absolutely delightful feature.

The amazing SimMattically has released Refreshed Main Menu 3.0 for version 1.117 of the game!

❤️ First of all, you no longer have to choose between different main menu replacements: the randomizer will take care of everything for you. Plus, you can switch background images by pressing R or clicking the button in the lower-left corner of the screen. ❤️ Second, the mod now supports other creators’ replacements! All you need to do is drop as many menu replacements into your Mods folder as you like (just make sure the creators state compatibility with SimMattically’s mod!).

With that in mind, I’ve updated all of my menu replacements so they can be used with Refreshed Main Menu 3.0!

🔓 How to use it? ⚪ Download Refreshed Main Menu 3.0. From the archive, you must take the file SimMattically_RefreshedMainMenu3_BASE and place it in your Mods folder. ⚪ Download the menu replacements you want and extract them into the same folder as Refreshed Main Menu 3.0. ⚪ Launch the game, wait for the main menu to load, press R, and enjoy the rotating backgrounds — but don’t get too distracted, remember to click “Play”!

for when you're drowning in overlays and just want things neat

i originally made these organizers for CAS in russian, but folks asked for an english version — so here we go

thanks for the idea to @blackpanda-ts4 :)

🤍 what is this — these are empty slots that help visually separate your custom content — no textures, no meshes — your sim doesn’t "wear" them, they’re just visual markers

💡 important to know — to make them transparent, you need a base file — that’s what makes the magic work — if you're using a CAS UI replacement, the base file must load above it, or it won’t function — make sure your folder includes one TidyCAS file and one wrench icon file

also, both the base file and the wrench replacement may need updates after game patches

🔧 a matching wrench icon replacement is included — for a cleaner, more cohesive look

👤 works for all ages, genders, and occult types
