Just a note for the writers out there:
Do your research. Yes, sometimes “the curtains are just blue,” but cars are more than just a tool/appliance, and guns can represent more than just a weapon. There’s a reason why some people resonate with specific cars and guns in media.
For my examples, I shall present my own assigned items to my characters.
One has a variety of guns, but defaults to dual M1911s and a Desert Eagle. The character could easily use a rifle, or a railgun, but thanks to his powers he can just manipulate the trajectory and force of bullets, so handguns easily perform the role he wants. The Deagle just provides a lot more force if necessary while still being a magazine-fed hand cannon. He also drives a Ford Falcon XB coupe. The colors (black primary silver secondary) are just to match his desires, but it’s a muscle car (traditionally masculine) that isn’t a typical model seen in most media, on top of being made in Australia (different country and design compared to the average American muscle car), lending an air of wanting to be cool, but still choosing the odd choice because it’s available. Also, I just find it super sexy.
I will post more of this for the rest of my characters, because it makes me happy to share.
