Som this evening I went down a Wattpad rabbit hole because someone told me that they have seen many one shots and stories about me and a fan. Gotta say these fans have some wild imaginations about me and what they think I am like.

There is a reason we don't go down that hole. I've made the same mistake and sometimes there are things I can't unsee. There was a situation 20 years ago that people still talk about. It's crazy. I don't even know how many people I've been with in the fictional world. Just don't.

It's been a fun tour so far. enjoy yourself when you do come and i'm trying to everything i can in all the places we get to visit. we can only spend the time that we can.

Sounds like you are all having a great time out there. If you don't mind, can I ask if all the shows are the same or are you changing it up in some places? I've always wanted to know that when you tour together.

i don't think it's the same for every kid, so you might luck off and not have to go through it. hell, i might not either. could just be overthinking things and worrying about nothing in the end. couldn't even imagine how you do it, man. getting up there and performing in front of all those people? that's insane to me. are y'all on tour right now? it's nice to know that i'm not the only older guy around here feeling like he's falling apart sometimes. the stunts are hard. i will admit that fully. they're fun, though. sometimes i look back and go 'what the hell was i thinking doing that?' but i don't regret it.

They really are different, but Rowan and Kennedy look up to their cousin, Bandit, ao that might play in, but we will see. Being in front of all those people was always terrifying when we started. It didn't matter if it was 20 or 2000. But when it got really big, it was bad. That stayed with me for a long time, then when we returned years later, it was suddenly fun. My head was super clear though, and my life was entirely different. I will say that I tried some stunts when we were making the Danger Days videos and as much as I'd like to be great at them, we weren't, It was fun, but I can see where it would take a lot out of you.

Next time there is a good Comicon in town, we should go. That is an event not to miss. There are small ones but I love the big ones with everyone dressed up. We can make that happen too. Definitely come out to a show though. It will be a blast.

I really was ready to quit music when MCR was done and buy a Comic Book Shop or something and nerd out all day. It's seriously me. My brother was busy with The Umbrella Academy and Doom Patrol, and I had some side projects. It was set. My family was set. Then we started missing it. It's a little more complicated, but here we are. I need the chill too before heading back out on the road. It was nice. What are you up to outside of Napa?

honestly, that would have be such a vibe. if that ever comes true, let me know because i will be your first customer. i love that you came back to it though, we do love your music. i loved napa, it is an amazing place. i am back to work myself, got some exciting campaigns coming up.

I can get lost in book stores or nerd shops. Don't take to a comicon. I will never come out. I was on a panel a few times for comics at the San Diego Comicon actually and it was a blast. You should come see us on tour and show off your campaigns. Seriously, call me and I'll get you in, and we can nerd out before the show all day.

It's pretty cool to have that tour. I will be over there myself next month which seems like it's right around the corner. Do everything you can? We don't seem to have a lot of time but we always get something in when we stop somewhere.

Life has been so crazy lately. Last year we were filming our show, wondering if people were going to like it, and now I'm about to lead the second season, just dropped an erotic audio story (big gulp!), and– well, my private life is actually great for once. Kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop, to be honest. Any advice on how to shake this feeling?

Congratulations for getting picked up. I'm not an actor but that seems pretty big, maybe like recording contracts go. The erotic story though - I wish I had a voice to pull that off. Anyway, you sound like you are doing great. Stop looking for that other shoe - I do that all the time to and it's almost like you are willing it to happen. Just go with all the good stuff.

Hey!! I feel like I haven't seen you in ages. I'm gonna have to check out the new album. What else have you been up to? I don't really keep up with anything, but tour over the last year has taken a lot out of me.

you know you're getting old when your daughter turns 13 going on twenty. don't get me wrong, i don't feel a day over forty but sometimes i do hear the creaks that my body let out when i get up off the floor or i sleep the wrong way. on May 30th my little girl is going to be turning into a teenager and i have to admit i'm not ready for it. will she begin to think hanging out with her old man is boring? will i not be her favorite guy anymore? my worries, folks. they are real. they are here. they won't stop coming. give me something else to think about, please. what is going on in your life?

A lot of that really. My oldest girl is only 10 and I'm still the best guy but we are getting closer and closer to that teenage thing and it scares the shit out of me (bad pun). My niece, Bandit, turned into one and nothing has been the same. Just joking there too, she's alright. My body has reached that old man state at 40 too though. A night on a stage takes a lot out of me. My back hurts, my knees hurt - I'm glad I don't do the kind of stunts you do, but it's a lot. Sorry, that probably isn't better, but at least we can be in it together.

you're probably right about that. you and your brother should be giving yourselves a pat on the back for not letting the usual sibling rivalry get in the way of things. so, you worked at a comic book store before the band? that's pretty cool. there's always a weird rumor or two going around, feeding into the media frenzy. hope you two are able to ignore it.

People ask about us fighting all the time, even now. We've had some huge ones like family does. We've both done stupid shit, but we always get it together. Mom might also threaten to lock us in a room until we work it out. Not joking either. Seriously though, he's about the only one who can put up with me this long. We've already went through the bad shit though, it's all fun now.

Another funny bit is that, the fandom knows us, but not everyone realizes we are brothers when they first hear us or meet us. Yet if we are side by side, it's there. What do you do?

the saddest part of the tour is coming up very soon and is our last show and last stop of the tour. we're ending our tour in london and i am feeling very emotional. i feel like we have been touring for literally an entire year and now it's coming to an end. i was so excited when this tour started. getting to be in the states and visit states we've never been to before was such a nice feeling. i'm glad we were able to do our twice vlogs while we were on tour so we can look back at these moments. now it's coming to and end. so crazy how fast time flies when you're busy having fun not to mention my days have literally blended into one. am i ready for this to end? not really but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end right? @limelightblvdstarters

It can be pretty emotional. Our first tours were just exhausting and I was looking forward to sleep, but the one we are on is special. This one is long but it will hurt when it's over. It sounds like you got amazing fan reception. Is that what you will miss the most?

Oh shit, that's hard. When we first started touring we were in a shitty van, trying to make enough to find a place to sleep that wasn't the van. I think we toured seriously for about 3 years once we started gaining a following. That is exhausting but we were young and stupid. Older me dreads touring. I love it more than I did, but doing it at 44 is different than in my 20s. My back hurts, and I want to go to bed, not party all night. But we also play these huge places and not small clubsso it changes the whole dynamic. Anyway, hi, how are you? The Queen's Gambit was amazing, by the way.

Yes, I've heard all of those horror stories and you honestly have all my respect because I know for an absolute fact, I would have never survived the way you guys did back then. As we grow, we learn new things and I love that you still find so much joy in touring, but yeah, I can only imagine how much trouble it causes your body with the travel alone. Hello. I can tell a million stories of tour life and all the ugly, and amazing things, but it was a time. I wouldn't change it for the world. It's a rite of passage in music practically, and really it makes you ready for anything. I know you've done other things but that show was smart and I love that kind of style. What are you doing now?

i know MCR is a huge band, but do you ever regret taking the same career path as your brother? because don't get me wrong, i love mine but i don't think i could ever work with him. actually, who even started the band first?

Most brothers could not do this, at least most that I know. Gee and I have it easy though. He put it together, it's his vision, even though we put stuff into it, but we agree with that. He's also been my best friend, and I don't think I would have made it without him. I'd probably still be at the comic book store or working on my own. He was the one who actually insisted that I come along for the ride, and he was gonna drag me if I said no. It all worked out though.

What's funny is that there have been stories over the years that we don't get along or we don't talk - We live near each other and I think the longest we go without talking is like a week.

hello. i’m barbara. of course i know you, i love mcr. and a fellow comic book nerd? i see why they put us together. what has been your favorite thing about napa?

I'm a nerd before anything else, I swear. My brother and I both draw, and we were creating whole storyboards in our basement Way before we were in a band. I have written several books including a TMNT issue of Red, White, and Green. It was awesome. Napa is just peaceful and relaxing. I don't need a lot of high energy stuff, you know. I save that for the stage. What about you?

And man, Texas heat hits different, the sensory memory just bakes itself into your brain. San Antonio in September is no joke either, so keep that air conditioning blasting.

Your point about actors is spot on. When someone dives that deep into a character, there is no way it doesn’t leave a bit of residue. You spend months in someone else's shoes, separating that from your actual self at the end of the day is hard

Wolf is definitely a trip and a perfect addition to a tour downtime list. It’s got that gritty, immersive energy that gives you a lot to chew on, making it great for when you finally get to kick back, turn the brain off from the daily grind, and just get lost in a story.

September is on fire from what I remember. It's starting to cool down everywhere else but the South. Luckily I'm an inside guy unless there is water nearby. I gotta try some Texas tubing at some point while I'm there.

I've been around a few of them and it sounds pretty crazy. I was never great at that, but I can see it. How long does it take to get back out of the mindset of someone you've been in for awhile? I bet Wolf is easier at the end of the day. It might be easier to dive into action and leave the psychology on the backburner.
