2022 marks 20 years since me and my family moved to this neighborhood from Roxbury ❤️💖 sadly my mom passed away less than 10 months into our time here, and we don't have time to discuss the turbulence and turmoil that unfolded over the next decade from that point with the toxic people me and him ended up trapped with until 2014 :/ But, luckily since then I've been able to explore and appreciate this part of town more than ever before 😀 and Definitely grateful to still have this roof over our heads, especially his ❤️❤️☺️☺️ he loves this neighborhood even more than i or my mom did having worked in this area from 1997 until he retired in 2011 💖💖 #Grateful #NeverGiveUp #NeverStayDown #KeepMovin (at Copley Square) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYR41YnsTq0oEWrbFDR9VtJLo9L8yrbTO0JegE0/?utm_medium=tumblr

6 years ago tomorrow, someone i thought was my best friend turned her back on me for reasons she never explained....

6 years later after being confused and hurt by it, finally , i realized that im better off for it....

Don't make the same mistake I did

When people abandon you without reason, don't waste years searching for the reasons...

Accept the fact that they were never your friend in the first place, and come to terms that those are not people you want in your life anyway

Her heart still full of hate at everyone she Once claimed to "care about" ....

stop checking up on people who hurt you and are fine with never seeing you again. stop reopening old wounds just to see if they still hurt. stop pressing down on the raw sore parts of your heart and wondering why you’re still bleeding. you deserve so much better than what they done to you and how they made you feel. let them go and let yourself heal. you deserve to be happy and you will be, but you need to let go of the past and people who hurt you first.

Im plagued by wounds that will never heal...

I've forgiven those who caused them, but that doesn't mean im gonna allow reentry to my world to do what they did again....

Forgiveness and 2nd chances don't go hand in hand...

Forgive at a Distance those you can't trust...

Don't be bitter, but do be better
