If this shot is all I knew about Love Algorithm, I would be 1000% invested with no further information.

Oh, this show is already fascinating, y'all. A young man working behind the scenes on a dating show who is suddenly thrust into helping get one of the candidates... who turns out to be someone he was friends with and had a falling out with over the same girl. But was it really about her?

No, because they're both gay as fuck and crushing on each other! But they never realized it!

But just LOOK at them.

So I've caught up on Deep In...just in time for the new episode 🎉. It's clear that EVERYONE on this set knows these two actors are getting in too deep. They aren't fooling anyone.

And the show is making sure WE all know exactly what's going on here too.

Enjoy a good visual innuendo? There are signs that things are getting smoking hot down there for our actors...

culminating in a spewing soda shot.

But we all know visuals are up to interpretation, and that there are some notoriously bad takes out there. After all, maybe this was just the director getting excited. Right? 🙄So we best nip those bad takes in the bud by adding an aftermath scene.

And some *hint* *hint* dialogue because no one on this set or watching this show should be blind to what's going on.

However, media literacy can be a struggle. After all, there are people out there that never figured out Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were together while watching Untamed.

I know. I watched Untamed with them.

So for those that need things to be laid out explicitly

Might as well remove all doubt.

After his father's murder, Ju Taeseon imagines that his father calls him to eat.

But of course, his father is not there.

After their first investigation, Ju Taeseon takes Lee Chaeha to eat, but he eats far quicker than Chaeha, probably from years of eating alone.

Then, he takes Chaeha out to eat again at the request of Song.

Only to show up at his apartment later and eat his ice cream (from the same spoon) and drink his beer.

After the next investigation, they go eat again, and Taeseon offers Chaeha some of his food.

At the end of the workday, he takes him for another meal without Song.

And now when they eat together, he eats slower.

Beyond Song suggesting they celebrate Chaeha's first day, Taeseon is always the one to suggest eating. Together.

Taeseon is the one who misses eating with someone because even though Chaeha grew up with an abusive uncle, Taeseon is the one who was starved of human connection.
