Do you know anything about the origins of laCartoonerie?

This laCartoonerie?

It was the official font for a French animation website of the same name that existed from 2002 to 2021.

I don't know who made it, though. It's just credited to the company.

I was looking at some of @ctrl-shift-alt-9 ‘s posts about Simon yearning for/daydreaming about Mars lately, and orange being his favorite colour. I’ve been thinking and feeling about this a lot, and it inspired this drawing. It’s based on the scene where he talks about his theory/hope that the planets and stars are still out there. The colour scheme is inspired by the blue sunsets on Mars, although I did modify the colours to include a wider range and darker shades in the case of the blue.

There are lots of mistakes with his likeness and I’m not sure I’ve got the yearning and the sadness and the tension in his face quite right, but I think I’m done with this anyway. I may draw more of this scene in the future though because I’m not sure I chose the right shot to draw. There are so many, I have a lot of screenshots now
