Now that the Qwel controversy has been resolved and is settling down I might as well post a oc I had in my folders for a while

Basically they work as two different toons on several floors you will play shinne and several more floors you will play raine.

So my thoughts about the end of the whole controversy.

-Honestly I’m glad that Qwel is taking accountability and released a actual good apology. And I’m glad she’s taking a step back for a while. Most people would have thought that she should’ve have stepped down completely and let someone else take over the game. But honestly it would be better either way because Qwel should learn her lesson and not treat the mods like a sweatshop

-I now feel comfortable about posting dandy’s world oc content now that the controversy has ended but I won’t join the fandom nor play the game anymore because some parts of the fanbase was insufferable towards content creators that use to make dandy’s world content and also I didn’t really like the game because its a freaking grind fest and had a lack of good game mechanics. Unless the BlushCrush team can make a good game mechanic maybe I will hop back in.

-I now feel iffy about Dandy’s world I hate to put the game next to pressure and Grace. But honestly that’s how I feel about all three of them. It’s just that idk what to say or do about them. And I’m worried about getting blocked by people I follow because of interacting with those three games. And would refuse to post content about them (Well, I would still post my DW ocs) and interacting someone that posts a certain fandom and I’m interacting someone else and that certain fandom fans aren’t allowed to interact with them. I feel like I’m playing two different sides and I can’t decide if I’m person As side or Persons Bs side.

Internet Freedom: Good News and Bad News

The Bad: the Senate committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation voted unanimously to send S 1748 (their version of the Kids Online Safety Act) to the full Senate chamber for a future floor vote

The Good: the same committee failed to move the online age verification bill S 737 (their version of the SCREEN act) out of committee due to not getting enough votes to reach quorum

Also, friendly reminder that the Senate is starting a 5 week recess this Friday. Be sure to use every day of it to call, email, text, and write letters to your senators telling them to oppose S 1748 in the future floor vote. If you can, try to attend their town halls. We killed this bill before, and we can do it again!

Saw some community posts on YouTube about Jojis document being possibly over exaggerated or fake something like that.

Even if that’s the case We shouldn’t brush off the fact that Qwelver LITERALLY kept in contact with Rox after his supposed fire, Didn’t even respond to the situation and instead played overwatch and Released a half ass apology that was blatant guilt tripping and didn’t address the issues.

-If joji and maybe some of the victims do end up being liars It would be a nobody is innocent situation.

I just saw a video by a guy talking about Roblox devs saying stupid stuff and the community reacting poorly about it. Something like that

(Incase you’re wondering what Saucefy did. He reacted very petty towards the hitbox criticism. I’m not defending him for saying that due to the fact as a creator you shouldn’t joke or react poorly about issues with your game. But also at the same time putting a teenager (I think) saying petty shit next to a GROWN ADULT that was literally aware of her friend being a pedo. And responding to the backlash BY playing overwatch. IS A MASSIVE GAP IN BEHAVIOR Don’t you think?)
