Just thought I’d make another... update? To the jaw surgery story. The last pictures I put up still get some replies and questions and since I’m actually still swollen in those pictures, I’m posting these! It’s been maybe 5 years now since I had my double jaw + chin surgery. Still, no regrets. No issues except every now and then my left jaw clicks or gets tight, which it never used to. Other than that, I forget that I’ve even had anything done! Seeing pictures of myself before kind of shock me a bit cause it’s not the face I’m now used to ^^’

His name is Dr. Naito! But I live up in a smaller town in Canada so the chances of you being close to him is probably slim ^^’

hey was your chin augmentation the reason you had braces put in? i've been looking into either an implant or sliding genioplasty but according to the internet id need braces all over again for gen. and it sounds like a really burdensome process

Sorry if this is ages after you even asked this, but my chin was only done as a bonus! I had to get braces to straighten my teeth but also because getting both jaws done means you have to wire your mouth shut. So the braces helped with that, and then afterwards to keep my teeth from shifting while my jaws healed. I wouldn’t think you’d need to wire shut for just the chin! And I’m glad I got mine done, I hadn’t realized how weak my chin was.
