What canon character do you really wish your muse could interact more with?

This is a tough question because Lupin is SUPER social and is more or less super capricious and arbitrary in his social choosings. I want him to talk to everyone he can and honestly, so does he.

In Lupin III canon? I’d LOVE to interract with a Clarisse.

I’d say the only “wishlist” character out of Lupin’s canon would be Favaro from RoB, I’d love to see just how shitty those two could be together

For the most part I only completely ignore nazi-based episodes, and for reasons discussed with my cast the series “A Woman Called Fujiko Mine” isn’t something “Yellow Jacket” Lupin experienced (it’s considered a different timeline/reboot compared to the rest of the series anyway)

Haven’t gotten to have him talk to ghosts or get possessed or run afoul of a cryptid just yet, and I would LOVE to explore his brotherly relationship he takes on for younger girls with some of the girls (Ami, Clarisse, Rei) he’s done this for in canon. I’d love him to speak the how and why out loud to them instead of fuckin around and leaving.

6. What is the general opinion of your muse’s fandom about them? Do you agree with it?

Dude everyone agrees he is both a terrible little man and an inspiration all at once, he’s bad and good, fandom tends to scold him just as much as they laud him, like a family member you look up to but get tired of their shit. I feel the same, but from a more personal perspective; I see my shortcomings, my symptoms, and my strengths tied up in this little noodle man and I curse him as much as I get excited about him.

So, he’s serious. That’s unfortunate, Paz, he’s really serious. He can tell she looks iffy about the whole thing. “Look this is the first one I’ve made that doesn’t require a tandem bike, usually it takes two people pedaling so for your benefit, let’s do a test run.”

He hops on the seat. “If I fall off of savior’s respite, you can laugh at my corpse and I get to haunt the place. Win-win. Under no circumstances are you to take me to the hospital. I’ll find Gyro or something.”

Maybe if it really did work… gliding down to the festival on a flying bike didn’t seem so bad. But she needed to see that test first.

“…Right, okay. I suppose I can go with that arrangement.”

At least he didn’t expect her to clean up the mess. Maybe he was starting to understand the respect she deserved. He was… getting there. Slowly.

“You know, it’d be fitting to die like Icarus in the Greek ward.” He winks... and he starts pedaling.

It takes a second for him to circle around and gain momentum but with every cycle of the wheels and gears the wings of the contraption actually flap, and the steering appears to also control a rudder.

“See it’s just a glorified puppet that punches physics in the face!” He says as he rolls past her to the edge of Savior’s Respite, pedaling furiously.

At first, the whole thing just drops off the cliff. It seems for a moment like he did fail, his terrible little yelp of surprise echoing from the cliff and fading off.

But the machine worked just like it always did, such a dependable little mess it was. It had been at least twenty years since he last used the design and he himself was terrified (maybe hopeful, on some level) that the damn thing wouldn’t work, since there had definitely been some pretty drastic changes in muscle mass since he had last worn that green jacket.

But he was flying. He laughs, as much from adrenaline as at Paz’s disbelief. He circles in the sky above. “HEY. HEY I TOLD YOU!!”

So, so many lime “coins”, a book of piano compositions and a few papers(and many, many rogue post-its) full of Vigenère coding currently litter the Thief’s room, which is nothing new for the past two weeks.

What is new is a hastily drawn diagram of Styx, little painted sand dollars with landscapes from around Spirale he’s been using as messages to meet up with his friends and some pamphlets for the Temple...

And a library card.

It doesn’t take him long to hide anything incriminating inside his desk. The sand dollars and resin coins and pamphlets all stay out, his room back to looking like the messy abode of nothing more than an artist.

He grabs his coat and a few of the sand dollars to wrap up, whistling a piece of a particular tune by Gershwin  (the very one featured in the piano book, in fact) to himself as he sets off.

The game is 40% complete.
