for the record, i think the syndicate was 100% in the right for going to snowchester and asking c!tubbo about the nukes and his intentions. the server had a bad track record with governments and i don't think there was anything wrong with like. y'know. making sure tubbo wasn't going to do an imperialism on the rest of the server and subtly letting him know that they were watching, just in case.

Reading the Syndicate Revised Sourcebook:

“Robinhood was one of our founders. He stole from the rich wizards and gave to the poor, and we follow his values that’s how you know we care about the Masses.”

*two paragraphs later*

“Yeah so Robinhood tried to steal from *us* and give to the poor during the Digger’s Rebellion so we had to kill him because that’s a no no.”

Something is darkly funny about how one of the founders of the Syndicate was Robinhood, and then they killed him because he was one of their only influential members who had consistent morals, and the rest of them sold out.

And then they continued to sell out for generations up to the modern day, as is tradition.
