A highlight reel of recordings from the Winter of 2010, MAKIN' MOVES II: THE MIXTAPE seeks to showcase the natural versatility and talent that lies within the minds of the current artists that compose LO.END.RADIO*: MUSIC.
This project features debut appearances from LO.END artists frankee physixx, Evans The Pedestrian and Nandae, with a killer guest feature from lyricist Howard Flozstello. From the monstrous beats provided by the in-house production team of 88.206, 6S and MFB, to the soulful, jazzy aesthetics of guest producers PLAN and Antwon Vinson, no sound is left untouched.
This project was originally released on April 20th, 2011. It has since been remastered as of September 23rd, 2011.

-MAKIN’ MOVES II has officially been taken down for repair. Check back in two weeks for the final, remastered version.
Summer is a time that, to me, has always been about transition. In the midst of the late night studio sessions, live shows and whatever random escapades we happen to be engaged in, I've realized that a big change has slowly begun to settle upon our lives. What was once a dream is now our grind, and there is but one thing left to do: grow.
I've spent much of my summer working hard on improving my individual skills as a sound engineer; It's only fair that our music be presented to you all in the highest fidelity possible, so that you may enjoy it as it was intended. As a result our most recent release, MAKIN' MOVES II, has undergone a serious makeover and will be re-released sometime in the very near future (I'm thinking by mid September).
Until then, here is the remastered version of DAMN from the mixtape YOUNG HEARTS: THE LIFESTYLE. Enjoy! -6S

for those that don't know, i'm an artist, a creative.. and sound happens to be my canvas. this was a rather recent discovery.
it was but two years ago that i was planning on being a corporate.. and instead i chose to start my own company and follow my dreams.
i think it would be safe to say that nothing in four years of college would've prepared me for my experiences these past several months. being a recording artist, smoking weed daily, making my own schedule, running a company, living on my own.. this is my real day-to-day.. but you wouldn't believe the bullshit you experience living this kind of lifestyle.
but i do understand that i have an opportunity to do something that a lot of ppl will never have the chance to do.. and that's live what i love. answer to no one. keep it 100% until the day i die. shit, with the possibility of taking my friends with me..
how could i not do what i do?

Been a while since I've blogged publicly, but I feel it's a bit overdue.
Life's been pretty hectic these days.. it feels like there's so much going on that I just don't know where to start. I'll admit there's been a lot of shit distracting me from the mission, so I'm hoping that expressing my thoughts in type form will give me some sort of release.
I think I've been having trouble dealing with the fact that things are different now.. that we're not punk ass kids fucking around in college anymore.. and that no matter how hard I work, there's going to be some things that I can't keep from happening. As much as I strive to preserve all that I hold dear around me, there's some things I just have to let go.. like my innocence, for example.
It's crazy how much your life changes once you figure shit out for yourself. Everything seems to sort itself out immediately; the believers from the doubters, the real from the fake. The real problem is in one's ability to deal with these truths once they reveal themselves, and this is the phase that I find myself in right now. Like everything in life, the answer has always been obvious.. but that doesn't make it any easier to accept.
At the core of it lies this understanding that I have with the enigma that we call sound. It took me about ten years for me to realize that I've been given this understanding for a reason, and to fully grasp the power that I actually have. Never did I imagine that I'd have such a comprehensive understanding of it.. I still remember when I started making beats in middle/high school, hopelessly grinding away to the point of frustration, trying to answer the one question that everyone who makes music strives to answer:
"How do I make my shit sound good?"
Well it's ten years later, and I've figured it out. I've grown past the concept of making music that sounds "good"; now I am merely just telling my story.. by definition, "making history".
The most amazing thing about this life that I chose is that my story will not be the only one that will be told. I've finally been granted the opportunity that I've always wanted since day one: to take someone who the world deserves to acknowledge, and give them that acknowledgment through music.
When you've been working your whole life to reach a certain point, it sometimes gets hard to realize that you're there, floating in it, breathing it in. I'm living my dream.. all I have left to do is to embrace it.
Finally, a shout out to anyone who's connected with our music out there, whoever you are. It's crazy knowing that at any moment, someone could be listening to my shit.. and for that experience alone, I thank you.
Cheers
