Good to be bad
Short post today exhausted but exhilarated as today was all about testing new biometrics and access control systems. After all the best way to stop the bad guys is to know how to do it better.

Paradoxical politeness
I continually strive to be polite and pleasant to all I meet regardless of race gender or any other quality you could care to use to group people. Yet I often find myself greeted with the inverse especially by those within my generation. There are a myriad of instances of this which I recall the most recent and thus most striking instance of this was while I was taking the train home. I had secured a seat and was waiting for the train to conclude boarding a woman(who had a striking tattoo of a Scarlet Macaw on her left forearm) placed her bag on the seat across from me. She asked if I might watch her bag for a moment so she could use the bathroom without fear of losing her seat I agreed and away she went. Soon after the compartment began to reach capacity another woman walked up and preceded to glower at the bag as if to force it to move. I smiled and asked if I could help her. She responded that I could learn some manners and move my bag. I responded that the bag was not mine but she was welcome to my seat if she desired it. She responded by glowering and stating that she didn't want my seat and proceeded to angrily wait about until she saw the other woman returning at which point she turned on me and demanded to know why I had not informed her that the seat was for a woman. I responded that it didn't matter man or woman the seat was spoken for and I had offered her my seat. She said some rather unsavoury things and then stormed off. All in all it makes me wonder what has happened to polite discourse and since when is kind treatment of others grounds for offense? Bearing in mind that I treat all people kindly and would have offered my seat before surrendering another's to anyone
Stories
The protagonist today is a lovely young lady in her late teens to early twenties. With eyes that remind me of fresh ground coffee. I think I'll call her Anna. She seems like a perfect Anna near as I can tell. She stand out not for what she does but what she doesn't do. She unlike everyone else within my line of sight is not staring at it screen. She sits legs crossed in that elegantly yet effortless fashion that I must admit is an excellent look for her. But it's not her look that has caught my eye no it's the slightly worse for the wear volume in her hands. A classic and she has unselfishly decided to share it's magic with us. I watch for sometime as the story plays out across her face. She smiles, she winces, she laughs and she gets misty eyed. I know these reactions as I know the story, with each smooth shift and dramatic change in expression I am drawn into the world of this book and memory. What a wonderful and strange occurrence that I can be returned to that world off something so inconsequential as the expressions of another. Anna's stop has come and gone but I remain enraptured within the world she wove. Anna truly you were an enchantress borrowing the magic of books. I can think of no curse more pleasant than to be forced back into the literary worlds I once roamed. Can you?
Hello world
This blog is to be my view on this crazy beautiful wonderful universe that we all inhabit. I will endeavor to post regularly. So to you all here and now I make these promises. I will make no claims without evidence or sources, nor shall I accept them. An argument from emotion is fine as long as it is seen presents itself as an argument from emotion. I will always be honest and straightforward. Even if I disagree I owe you the courtesy to listen, I would like if you showed me the same. My experiences, perceptions, poetry and prose are not claims feel free to question or comment as you see fit though I have no desire to defend them nor do I feel the need to as they are representative of a state of mind at a snippet in time not fact nor presented as such.
