Hi, Hello! Let me just squeeze onto your holiday feed with this random Enjin Blurb. This is nothing super serious just something I thought Enjin would be into or do. This is totally not canon just a fan thought.

Enjin has a thing about touching, not in a sexual way, but in a comfort way. When Enjin decided who his person was going to be, they also became his safety, his comfort, his confidant, his everything. He shows that by always wanting to touch them, and it brings him joy when his person touches him back or initiates it. He uses touch as a way to make sure his person is okay too; you have to be alive to reciprocate touch, right?

However, out in public, he tends to touch less as he doesn't want to single you out as a target, mostly after the incident with the Raiders taking your third kid, Rudo. Instead, he uses Umbreaker as an extension of himself, still considering it touching. He'll tap your leg as you walk together, loop the grip through your belt loop using it to pull you along if you become distracted, or hook it onto your wrist if you fall behind.

The biggest thing with touch goes back to it bringing him a sense of safety and comfort. On the ground, nothing is ever really guaranteed, not even waking up in the arms of the person you love. So, anytime he has to hold you or touch you brings him that sense of ease because you're still there. If things are really tough and you hold him after, he feels like for once he doesn't have to be the strong one; he finally has the chance to just be vulnerable in a way that is rare on the ground.

First of all, he has to explain holidays to you

Because you are so old you most likely have no concept of holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, and any other manner of holiday

Seriously, the closest you'll get is to harvest festivals and religious holidays, that may have either evolved into something unrecognizable to you or they don't exist anymore

So, cut to Vox sitting you down in his office, trying to explain holidays to you

Yeah, that takes multiple days because, well, how do you explain Christmas to someone who was alive when harvest festivals and organized religion coexisted

Once he finally gets you to understand what it is, he now has to explain how you act during holidays

That is a whole other month of meetings because again, a lot of this didn't exist when you were alive

At some point, you get it, sort of

Yeah, when you start to understand you apply your own logic which makes things odd

Like during Christmas, you don't gift him normal items, instead you gift him potions, good luck charms, and anything else during you time that was handed out during the winter time

He takes and keeps it safe at least

THis leads him to try and give you things you'd like, except he has to go off of sketchy historical records that may or may not be accurate with your living reality

If he gets things wrong, he will be crushed because he hates to make you feel anything other than joy

If you ever get the hand of holidays as Vox knew them, then he'll short circuit with joy

Valentino and Velvette just roll their eyes at this, becuase it's at least a distraction from Alastor

Vox will sit you in front of a TV and play you holiday speicals from his time and beyond

Also rambles to you about things like The Nutcracker and other holiday stuff

Will recreate window displays he saw as a child to show you, and will also show you ctrees he rememebers

^ Aluminum Tree (both popular in the 1950s)

He just wants to share the holiday magic with you

But this will keep him up to the point where Valentino and Velvette have to make him sleep

Shock.Wav hates this time of year because dad is to focused on you to properly admire him

But Vox loves this time of year as he sees it as a way to get closer to you

If you're too busy, he'll work around it or jsut annoy you into coming

You're now the reason V Tower staff get one of theo corporate Christmas parties
