Well, yeah. I was. :/
But hereās the funny thing, for a fight to be āoverā both parties have to lay down arms, and this didnāt happen on the other side.
See, here I was getting ready to get out of here, and wash my hands of this whole business, then next thing I know, theyāre switching tactics and trying to not only come after my friends, but posting obviously doctored screenshots, continuing to misgender a trans man, and then threatening the community with lawyers/legal action over pixels.
I had ZERO to do with the whole twitter shit that went on. Those are the consequences of Cowbuildās OWN actions, from her very public posting of my information for the purpose of HARRASSMENT, to the fact her email probably got pwnd in some sort of data breach, to her homophobic/transphobic comments/actions that have lasted from 4 years ago up until now.
As stated in the comments of my reblog, I had COVID-19. :) I was in quarentine coughing my lungs out. I didnāt have the time, nor the energy to even try to attack someone on twitter or make sock puppet accounts to do so. Actually, sock puppet accounts are moreā¦you knowā¦the other sideās thing. *Pokes the account that submitted the question as an example*.
Now, since people love to talk about the political side of things, letās discuss that:
Y'all realize that sometimes people vote for a canidate not because that canidate is perfect, but because theyāre voting AGAINST another one right?
Like a ton of y'all voted for Biden because you didnāt like Trump. Even though Biden wasnāt perfect.
I am not a red-hat wearing MAGA flag waving Trump Supporter. That has never been me, and will never be me. I actually hate the cult of personality surrounding the man and am baffled by people who act like heās the second coming of Jesus. I think his phone should be kept away from him and hope to heaven he doesnāt run in 2024.
But, I didnāt feel Biden had his mental crap together. Iāll be real, I still donāt. But to put people into little boxes based on how they voted is a super sucky and narrow view of life. In fact, putting people into labeled boxes is the whole reason we have so many -isms and -phobias. Because we label people by ONE thing and then decide to hate the entire person because of it. Defining human beings and their entire worldview and personality by one choice they made on ONE day with what little limited information they had is stupid and narrow. And to then assume that because they voted one way, they are instantly against certain groups of people, or causesā¦like what? How does this remotely make any rational sense?
And yes, the meshes were proven not to be stolen, and Iām fine admitting Iām not perfect on that. But the claims of doxxing and tracking patrons? Those are 1000% proven and Cowbuild only made shit worse by then posting my information publicly. Whatās funny is if she had literally just posted her proof of the meshes not being stolen and moved on, she could probably have avoided a TON of the backlash. But she continues to play victim, lie, change the story, and flip the narritive, even though sheās not losing anything, and is gaining followers/patrons! (Which baffles me, tbh?)
Also what do y'all gain by kissing her butt? Like you realize sheās not gonna give you likeā¦a free monthās access to her content. Right? Sheās not going to personally thank you. If anything sheās gonna continue to track you, and potentially doxx you if you remotely do anything she doesnāt like.
It should also be noted that sheās keeping company with other people who have also been treating the community like shit with paywalls, and (as posted with proof earlier) are stealing meshes.
So y'all believe who you want, but personally I wouldnāt trust the people who are:
- Constantly changing their story/removing information
- Resorting to dragging peopleās personal information (doxxing) and politics into a fight that has nothing to do with it
- Hanging around with known mesh thieves
- Threatening the community with legal action when the community is just giving them consequences to their own behavior
- Posting doctored screenshots
- Using sock-puppet/burner accounts to make threats/personal attacks
- Making transphobic/homophobic comments over a long period of time and not remotely apologizing for it.
But thatās just me. /shrug
