Hellenic modern worship

I admit, I don’t understand how so many feel that worship of the Theoi is some kind of either or thing. You can worship this god but not that goddess. You can honor this goddess, but if you touch that god with a ten foot golden phallus you’ll be struck by lightning.

I really feel so much of it is the modern worship that pigeonholes the gods, reducing them to soundbytes without exploring the full richness of their existence. It’s like trying to pin down sexualities or attributes to our modern human understanding. It’s just not going to work. 

Why not instead of pigeonholing the gods, people began worshiping them as was done in the past. Set up a home shrine. Set up shrines. Make offerings. No one else can tell you what your relationship with the gods should be, or can be. Knowledge and research are key to wholly understanding the gods as more than Saturday morning cartoons and overdone, overpriced Hollywood blockbusters, but until you introduce yourself to the gods, come before them in supplication, it is not working on building kharis, and it isn’t building a relationship with the gods. 

It’s the difference between looking at paintings online, and creating personally relevant masterpieces with your own hands.

Here’s another difference between mental and physical spoons: I can put myself in the negative by using spoons I don’t have. “Negative spoons” can best be imagined as a complete and utter fucking meltdown. Going to the grocery store when I don’t have any spoons will certainly result in a panic attack, usually between the produce and the seafood section, but then a feeling of accomplishment. Cleaning when I don’t have any spoons results in such pathetic scenes as vacuuming or folding towels while weeping. Another catch-22 type situation with spoons is that making a choice that I feel disappoints or irritates another person cost me a great deal of spoons; but always saying yes and failing to put myself first does too. Sounds and sensory input such as the dog barking, a car alarm, the kind of thing that I believe mildly annoys, or sometimes greatly annoys regular people, can ruin my whole day.

Tarot Readings

Hi all. I don’t plan to advertise here, but I thought I would throw this post up. I do tarot readings for 25$ a pop.

All tarot card pulls are handled with the utmost privacy and discretion in mind.

For every request I will do 2 card pulls on the question and give you a comprehensive transcript of the pulls and my interpretation. This takes me about two or three hours to do, mainly because I am thorough and tend not to rush these things. If you would like me to do more pulls or if you would like me to take to an alternative medium I can do so, but the price will go up mainly because my time input will be increased. This is for a modified Three Card Spread (Which actually sometimes ends up being a ten card spread, it’s kind of hard to describe. I work with my intuition.)

I will work with people to their circumstances. I’ll sometimes do trade rather than take cash. Just talk to me if you’d like a reading from a Lokean.
