For the love of Merlin..
Not even a week of gallivanting 'round here and assignments are piling up like the fucking Everest.
Would someone, just, assassinate a professor or two? Or I'll blow up a room soon.
Poppy will be ten months old next week.
I was eighteen when I got married. Nineteen when I had Poppy. Legal adult.
Nah, not exactly the image I used to imagine. Thirty, wrinkles and whole lots of maturity. You know. Congratulations, Potent, you broke that assumption of mine. It makes you, what - a young, naive, suburban hot mama? Nice.
So, party for lil poppin' Poppy, yeah? Any booze will be included? I'd like to be there if so.
Poppy will be ten months old next week.
I got married, pregnant, and had a kid. That’s how the whole kid thing works. It’s just a bunch of waiting, really,
Er, I was inquiring of the time though instead of that. Since you know it would be kind of you if you'd share some stolen time to get some things done quick. Marriage and a kid? Aren't those supposed to be illegal before legal age?
[sighs and looks at the table as she hears the familiar voice. turns around and looks at Loki] It already gave me an answer. You. Obviously you were sent here so I can procrastinate so, come, young one. [pats the seat beside her before turning around and placing her books in her bag]
Ah, I am the answer? Must say I'm quite flattered to hear that, lioness but be honest here, I'm the answer to your everything. -Gives away a boyish grin as he saunters to the offered seat-
So, Magster how do you wish to procrastinate with me? -Wiggles his eyebrows in a rather suggestive way before his laughter bursts- Since the bump in last week was short-lived, huh? Didn't expect to see you in the crowd. I knew you'd be a student here though, small world, small world indeed.
Well, shit.
-Keeps the sigh in because ugh, how dare this little kid?!!? Putting his hands on both of the other boy’s shoulders.- Look, fine be picky. Then what do you want to do? Come on, don’t make this difficult. It’s not like that.
I see. Well, come on boy’s whose name starts with L.
-Groans as it’s pissing him off and he considers just walking away but something nags him as he decides to catch up with the kid. He grabs the kid’s shoulder again and he doesn’t know why he wants to hang out with the kid.- Look, just come on. It’ll be on me.
-Gets more agitated by every passing second as he watches his (former now?) mate sprouting bargains to get him to agree. It doesn't even sound promising at all. What will they do? Drink then chat then go home? Talk 'bout what. Definitely nothing important in particular, Merlin's saggy ass he should say no again to Lukas.-
Too bad I say it how I look at it, ol' chap. You don't have to do what you don't wish to do
-Loki's about to leave the other lad behind when he's being restrained by the shoulder again. 'Shit, at least he's still as smoldering as he used to be.' With a deepened scowl, Loki looks at Lukas from the corner of his eyes. -
Suit yourself. I'll be at a local bar in the Diagon Alley at midnight if you're too stubborn for a drink. I don't expect you to come and find me, it doesn't matter -Lies- Your choice, Ol- Clarion. -Curtly shrugs Lukas' hand off and leaves as quickly as he can-
Poppy will be ten months old next week.
Time really seems to fly. It seems like just yesterday she was a little thing.
...Potent? How in the bloodiest scrotum of a thestral did you manage to find yourself the time to pop out a baby?
The Dead Weather - 60 Feet Tall
[thinks as she sits at a table in the library, her books set on the said table.] Hmm, what should I do first? [looks at her books before looking up] Or should I do neither?
-Mumbles incoherent words as he slouches around before he gets into another corner. Something about his brother's stinginess and lack of books in his bag. Anyhow, he sees a familiar blonde from the corner of his eyes, distracting him from browsing the shelves-
...? -An amused huff- Honestly? Is there an answer up there that can tell you to choose productive or procrastinate? -Mimics after her but with a harmless smirk in tact-
Well, shit.
Did that hurt? I totally didn’t mean to damage your porcelain doll skin. And you know that was completely necessary, twat. -She can’t help but smile as the nickname rolls off her tongue as easily as it did in the past-
You disappear on me in the middle of the school year, leave me fending for myself, how dare you? You’re lucky that I didn’t simply clobber you to the ground. -Tightens her arms around him- You might as well have been, I can’t believe you’re back. You are the only one who came back. Though you’re still a twat, you’re my twat. Don’t go running off like that again, otherwise the next time I see you, it won’t be this nice.
New fact for you, I, like others, are not made of stones and steel.
-His tone remains light and it's apparent that he does not dwell on her action to bruise him, what more when he hears his nickname from her. She still sticks to it so it seems... And she has to jump on that topic of all things. Sigh. But the ever existing concern in him perks at the mention of 'fending for herself'. Loki makes an unsubtle look over to search for any physical scars on Olivia. Just in case. When he finds nothing that stands out, he opts to be rather awkward while tentatively petting her shoulder, returning her hug.-
Right. 'Bout the disappearance. It couldn't be helped, I had to. And silly midget, if I'm dead then there ought to be a funeral - I only went off MIA style. Oh, what's this? -swiftly attempts to squeeze her nose- Your twat? I never knew we had that kind of relationship. My, my, Olivia, I should have known. -chuckles at his own teasing-
Arithmancy...
Sniffing Mandrake powder? How so? I apologize, but your words seem to have taken flight over my head. Do not worry about my neck. It is all in the theatrics sense. I should have been an actor, yes?
Because the plant itself has a shrilly scream, Arithmancy does it to the brains with similar pattern. I can practically hear the insides of my head ringing after an hour or so if I concentrate on that bloody thing. Not sure 'bout you though? -Shrugs-
Ah, for the stage purposes. An actor, huh, wonder if you can do more than suicidal roles?
Arithmancy...
It truly must be the creation of the most dull wizard this world has ever seen.
I'd say it could be the creation of a wizard with the critical case of sniffing mandrake powder. That works too though and you might want to be careful with your neck.
SWAG JOKER ♥
Well, shit.
-Listens to the kid talk and he can’t help but feel bad now for being a little rough. Groans as he made a mess and it’s clearly his fault since he was the one that ruffled the hair and all that shit.- Wait, wait, wait. -Puts his hand on the boy’s shoulder and he has to stop himself from shooting himself for being an ass.-
Look, just get a pint with me and get this guilt off my chest, alright? Any place you particularly like? Or liked? Just not somewhere we used to go though. Anyway, hi, my name is Lukas Clarion, yours is?
-Surprise colors his contours, hope fills him up when Lukas stops him. Maybe it is only a play, a damn good play at that but..-
-Snorts, should've seen it coming.- Why? It'll make you a better person? Or is it for our sake? -Rolls his eyes at his earlier wishful thinking. Of course- I don't feel like drinking, too early to get rat arsed with someone who doesn't remember even my bloody name.
Tell you what, it starts with 'L' too.
-Walks backwards with a, 'Tough luck hot shot' expression and a flippant gesture of his right hand- Forget it as well you know, I don't mind at all. We'll get acquainted like strangers do the first time, next time. If there is, yeah? -scoffs-
Well, shit.
I’d rather keep my hands clean and not accidentally kill you. But you’re right, it does sound suggestive in all the wrong ways. I won’t tell her you said that though she and I aren’t on talking terms to begin with.
You know, you’re saying all this murmuring that I can’t catch. Mind speaking up?
Me…? -Notices how the other boy is looking sort of downcast and a feeling of guilt starts coming onto him and he can’t think of any words that are comforting but maintaining distance at the same time.-
Sorry, don’t know what else to say. -Ruffles the shorter boy’s hair and is a bit surprised that it felt so natural but decides not to say anything.-
If it’s any consolation, I’m sure the old me would have been thrilled to see you. It’s just, I’m not who you think I am. Look, why don’t I get you a pint or something to make up for it?
Now I don't think violence is a good idea, old man. She'll hit me even if I don't speak, I don't worry 'bout her.
I say what I want if you can't hear it's your problem for not checking up at St. Mungo's -almost a whining tone laced with building frustration, Loki shakes his head as the mood spirals darker. It's confusing, it's overwhelming and he's stalling in front of a chance to walk away. Should he..? Should he-
...! -Lukas' rough fingers startle Loki, almost as if they're not in a strange situation. The way he casually messes up Loki's hair is almost...Comforting and saddening at the same time. Nonetheless, Loki hastily slaps the hand away. Old habits die hard, they say-
I...You used to do that a lot..Even if I hated it. -Silence but Loki shakes his head once again and frowns at Lukas-
Save it. You're right, we're new. We're different. Too different now. N-never mind, go on. Sorry for delaying you -curtly as he's determined to walk away-
Well, shit.
Listen my friend, life is a game whether you know it or not, doesn’t matter. Whatever you’d like to think. Of course, I would say I’m doing it for my own entertainment but that would break your little heart and I wouldn’t want that just yet.
Well, there’s that but no, I mean masters too. You see, I work for the Clarion household. Master Melville Clarion is my master. His daughter can suck it though, she’s a bitch. Maybe for suddenly turned pansies. I hate to be in a boring place for too long. Okay, I’ll be sure to spill something, sounds juicy. *winks playfully*
Give me a freaking wow, I’ve never even been to the Big Apple that people talk about. I wonder what it’d be like living in the hustle bustle of it all. Concentrated on other things, eh? What like girls and all the shit that hormonal boys think about?
I'll mark your words somewhere. I don't find being the dead last is flattering in this kind of matter. Break my heart? Hah. Sweetness, it'll take you a troll's lifespan and another soul with a philosopher's stone. I suggest you to get used to disappointment with this.
...Clarion? -Frowns as he decides to pry around for a little bit- You don't mean Clarion as in, Lukas Clarion...Right? Well I'll note that too and see if she is as what you've described. An n'aww let's keep you out alright?
Really? Try it, traveling I mean. You'll be broke maybe with those expenses but it'll worth it somehow. Living in a city is...Noisy, not peaceful. Bright lights. Not that I mind -chuckles- Oh, maybe? Who knows, yeah?
