Out of all places you chose to do your work, it had to be this cafe. You silently smacked your head as you heard the door once again ding and allow in yet another customer. Usually the cafe was not this busy and you always sat at the same table, at the same window, watching the same scenery. But today seemed different and you had no idea why.
Silently sipping your Chai tea, you peered around to see the crowd gathered around the counter waiting for their expensive drinks. As you resumed typing away on your computer, the barista yelled “Drink for Mr. H! We have a Chai tea latte for a Mr. H!” You frowned as you looked over to the counter and saw a tall man squeeze his was through the line. Who the hell writes their name so official on a cup? Can’t people just use their first or last names? Your thoughts amused yourself as you resumed once again to type away. Hopefully nothing else will distract you....
As if karma bit you in the butt, you soon felt the presence of another person at your table. “Pardon me, Miss. But do you mind if I share the table with you? The rest are a bit full.” You looked up at the tall figure who you soon recognized to be the “Mr. H” the barista referred to. He was strikingly handsome and British, the perfect combo for you. Contemplating getting your work done or having a hot British guy sit next to you, you smiled softly and gestured to the seat in front of you. “Please, be my guest.”
The handsome stranger “thanked you” and removed his jacket and scarf, revealing his lean and muscular figure. Looking over to him, you began to feel slightly self-conscious as you felt the pressure of his stare on you. You weren’t as skinny or curvy as most girls, which prevented you from feeling confident, but something in you made you feel even more self-conscious in front of him.
Silence fell between the both of you, but soon ended when the man cleared his throat. “Oh, ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ one of my all time favorites. Book report?” You peered above your book and noticed how blue his eyes were....almost familiar to you. “Uh yea, not really the biggest Shakespeare fan but this one isn’t too bad.” The man chuckled softly, and sipped on his latte. “Not a big fan? Shakespeare is quite brilliant with his writing. Why don’t you like him?” You shrugged and blushed at the stranger’s teasing. “I don’t know. He speaks in such a weird way that I can’t seem to understand his purpose or what the hell he is talking about. It’s exhausting and I just want to get this paper done, ya know?”
You both laughed and he couldn’t help but smile at you as you focused back at your book. “Well, I’m Tom by the way and would love to give you a hand if you’d like.” Tom....Mr. H....oh my god! TOM HIDDLESTON! You were sitting across from THE Tom Hiddleston. Not realizing how much your mouth was open, you nearly choked on your spit as you began stuttering. “Oh my god! Tom as in Tom Hiddleston?! Or should I say Mr. H!” You nearly fainted as he flashed you his gorgeous smile. “I am he, darlin. But can we keep it quiet, I’m trying to be low-profile.” He sent you a wink and your heart fluttered.
You shook you head and began to bite your cheek, trying to prevent the huge girlish smile from creeping on your face. “I’m so sorry. I’m just such a huge fan and love you and your acting. I would’ve never expected you to sit with a girl like me.” He furrowed his eyebrows at you and leaned across the table. “What do you mean, darling? Why wouldn’t I sit with you?” You shifted uncomfortably, as you began to feel small under his stare. “Well it’s just that I’m not like the other girls you’re with or you hang out with. I’m no Hollywood model or skinny or pretty like the rest. I’m just a small town girl.”
This seemed to upset Tom, as he reached over to gently tap your hand. “Look, all those girls are all about attention. Most of them are fake. They paint themselves with makeup and starve themselves to keep such an unnatural figure. It sounds so cliche, but it’s true. You, my darling, are gorgeous and are a natural beauty. One of the first things I noticed actually. I came over because you seemed so calm and content as you read your book, something I don’t see too many females do nowadays.” You couldn’t help but giggle.
Tom really was a Prince Charming. You looked over to him and flashed him a smile as he resumed to sip his latte. “Thank you, Tom. Really. Coming from a huge celebrity like you let alone an extremely attractive one means a lot.” He winked back at you and nodded. “By the way, what are you doing in this area anyways? Kind of random for you to be here.” He shifted in his seat as if he was trying to remain undercover. “Well my director and I were looking at some theaters in the area to promote our new Shakespeare drama. We are looking to expand and there are a few theaters here that have come recommended. Plus we figured it was a great place to keep low.”
Wow. Tom Hiddleston was going to be spending time in your hometown. So many thoughts went through your head. Maybe you can both----”As a matter of fact, now that you and I have met, perhaps you can show me around or make me feel at ease while I’m here. Wouldn’t want to lose such a friendly and gorgeous face as yours.” Damn, he is slick. You were gonna ask for an autograph, but this far out-beat that! “SURE! Wow, yea, I would love that. But only if you help me with this essay.” He chuckled and got up from his seat to join you. “You might want to make room, Darling. This is going to be a very long coffee date.”
Stuck in a booth, at a coffee shop, with the one and only Tom Hiddleston...this was a dream come true.

Your eyes fluttered open at the sound of a creaking door. Soft footsteps followed after and you smiled, thinking that your super soldier was “trying” to be quiet as he thought you were sleeping. “You know, maybe if you removed your boots I may actually not wake up.” A soft chuckle from your fiancé warmed your heart, as the bed dipped beside you. His soft stubble grazed your cheek as he peppered your face with kisses. “Ew, Buck, you stink.” You giggled as his greasy hair fell in your face. “Sorry Doll, I just miss you so much. But I thought you liked my manly scent,” he teased, rubbing his head in your face.
You pushed him away softly, rolling your eyes, and turned your side lamp on. Turning to your man, you could tell he was beat. Small scrapes and dried blood painted his face. Bags rested under his eyes, but a warm smile shot through. That’s the Bucky you fell in love with. No matter how tired and run down he was, he still made you happy and flashed his best smile. You cupped his cheek and pressed a small kiss to his nose. “Go shower, soldier. Then come back to bed.” He nodded without saying anything and headed into your bathroom.
Moments passed, and you felt an arm sling over your torso. You must’ve dozed off because you don’t remember him getting out of the shower. His shampoo mixed with his lotion filled your nostrils as you pulled him closer. “Mmsorry babe, must’ve fallen asleep. Would’ve joined you.” His hand rested on your thigh as he pressed small kisses on your chest. “It’s ok, I know you’re just as tired as I am.” It’s true. Every night when Bucky was away for a mission, you couldn’t sleep at all. You wanted to make sure he made it home, regardless of what time it was. Sometimes it would even be nights alone, cause the team would sleep at a motel or something if the mission was further away. Bucky felt bad though, because it has been 3 months since he asked you to marry him and he feels like he hasn’t spent more than a day with you. You tried to be understanding, knowing he loved helping Steve and saving the world, but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t want him all to yourself for a while.
The next morning rolled around quicker than you wanted it to. Moving to stretch, you soon realized you could not move. A heavy and very muscular arm was tightly wrapped around your arms with a sleepy Bucky resting his head on your chest. Smiling as you peered down at the brunette locks scattered on your breasts, you began to run your fingers through his hair. He hummed softly yet didn’t fully move. It was odd to seem him in bed so late, so you questioned if he was going to be late for a mission or morning workout with the boys. Not wanting to disturb him, you reached for your phone to text Steve but Bucky grabbed your hand before you could. “Don’t even think about it, Doll. I know what you were gonna do.”
He chuckled and perched himself on one arm, looking at you sleepily. You giggled and rubbed his scruffy chin. “Babe, it’s 8:30, aren’t you going to be late for something?” He yawned and began to reposition himself on you. “Nope. No mission. Just sleep with my girl.” Before you both knew it, he was snoring softly once again And you found yourself following his lead, finally being able to sleep peacefully knowing he was all yours today. Bucky’s soft snores and the rhythmic breathing was music to your ears. Your soldier was home.
After what seemed like another lifetime, you finally woke up again, but this time without your fiancé. Furrowing your eyebrows, you patted the side of the bed still feeling his heat. He couldn’t have left too long ago... The bathroom door opened in your bedroom and you sighed, smiling back at your hunky, shirtless man. He had a toothbrush shoved in his face and a goofy smile on his face. “Morning babe!” He spit into the sink before rinsing his mouth and coming over to greet you. Falling down on the bed next to you, he grabbed at your waist til you fell on top of him. “Bucky! Why are you being so clingy?” You giggled as he peppered your neck and face with kisses, his scruff tickling you. “I just miss my baby so much, and am happy to be home with her.”
He leaned forward and captured your lips in his. They molded against yours and you could still taste the lingering mint of the toothpaste. His tongue swept against yours, as his hand pulled your face to deepen the kiss. You moaned in his, allowing him to slip his tongue further to swipe against yours. Breathless from the kiss, you rested your forehead against his. “Please stay for a while, Buck. I miss you so much and feel like I never see you. I know we kiss all the time, but that felt like the first time we did.” He nodded and pulled your head to rest on his shoulder. “I know, baby. I’m beat and I feel like I haven’t given you the attention and love you deserve.” You squeezed him in a tighter side-hug, and got off the bed. “Well, you got some talking to do and I have some breakfast to eat. What you say, Buckaroo? Wanna make an appearance to the team?”
He groaned like a child and huffed. You smirked and held out your hand to help him up. Once he emerged from the bed, he threw his arm over your shoulder and nodded towards the door. “Fine. But I’m spending my day with you, not the team. Not even Steve.” You smacked his chest, earning an ‘oof’. “Yea, but you’re not marrying Steve Rogers.” He laughed and pressed a small kiss to your temple as you headed to the kitchen. “Well some people might think otherwise. We are quite the duo, ya know?” Rolling your eyes, you smiled as you greeted the room full of Avengers.
“AWWW, well if it isn’t the Tin Man and his heart that he found.” Sam cooed as you both said your ‘Good Mornings’. Steve chuckled softly as he gave you a side hug. “I honestly don’t think I have ever seen James this lovable in the morning. In the 90 years I have known this man, the guy rarely was a morning person. Tell me your secrets, y/n.” Bucky retaliated by throwing a piece of bread at his buddy and laughed with you. “I hate you both, you know that?” Steve and Sam shrugged, as Tony and a few others joined the room. “Hey Buck, where were you this morning? Thought you were joining Nat and Clint on their briefing.” Bucky smacked his head on the side of you and you looked at him confused. “Oh shit, I forgot.” Drawing your eyes to Tony, you saw that he wasn’t happy at all. “Cmon Barnes. I’m finally allowing you to be apart of this team and you can’t afford to miss a briefing. You left them waiting.”
Steve was about to pipe in, but Bucky held his hand out. “Tony, look. I have a fiancé that I have not seen in months. I haven’t spent more than 24 hours with her. Do you know how much that kills me? I have been to every mission, nearly getting myself killed every time and doing everything I can for you and for this team. I just need some alone time with her. Please. She’s my life, Tony. What if it was Pepper? Would you place missions before her?” Never has Bucky been so defensive over his time with you, but in honestly it was a turn on for you. Tony nodded and smiled softly. “You got me there, Barnes. Take some time off with y/n. You both deserve it.” Quietly pumping his fist, Bucky picked you up in response and crashed his lips on you. “Ya hear? You’re all mine, babe. What do you want to do?” Giggling, you thought for a moment and wiggled your eyebrows. “Well...we do have a lot of catching up to do, if you know what i mean.” Bucky’s eyes went wide and he gulped thinking of the amount of sexy fun you both were going to have. Bucky grew excited because it has been quite some time since you both have done any love-making, and he was damn sure it was gonna happen.
The guys groaned, overhearing your conversation. Steve got up to pull Bucky from you. “Dude, cmon...my virgin ears. You’re practically attached to her.” This sent Sam into a fit of laughter, you soon following in. “Cap, you ain’t wrong. He’s like a Baby Koala seeking affection from his mama.” Bucky rushed over and before Sam could think, he threw him in a headlock. “You better take that back, Wilson. Or imma pin ya.” Sam tried to relieve himself from Bucky but he finally threw his hands up in surrender. “Ok ok, I’m just messing with you man. You know I love, y/n.” Bucky scoffed and let Sam go, as he rubbed his neck. “Damn dude, your metal ain’t nice on the skin.” Bucky walked back over to you and hugged you from behind. “Well apparently, y/n, likes the feeling on hers.” You peeked up at Buck and winked, stealing a kiss from him.
Steve and Sam groaned. “You two better get up into your room before I throw up all over you,” Steve winced as he went for another glass of milk. Bucky nudged you forward, so you started to head out of the kitchen. “She’s all mine, boys. So don’t interfere with our Koala affection.” He landed a smack on your butt, as he followed after you. You yelped and ran to your room with a very quick Bucky on your heels. When you both reached your room, he threw you on the bed and didn’t hesitate to begin removing your clothes. “Hope you’re ready for some catching up, Doll. Cause you’re in for a ride.” In between removing a piece of clothing, Bucky kissed you deeply. “Saddle me up, Soldier. I’m ready.” He growled and threw arms around your half naked body, sealing the gap with another kiss. Needless to say, you and Bucky did A LOT of catching up. ;)
