Trying to paint a grandiose landscape. What I got currently, vs how it started as an initial idea. I'm still not sure how vibrant I want the colors to be if I'm honest. I'm trying to find balance between striking illustration and something taken out from a movie.

Debate - remaster 2024

Here is another remaster! Previous version for comparison, which was admitedly a doodle rather than a painting but still. The lack of vibrance was probably the worst offender

Originally it was supposed to be a simple female portrait. Then a vision hit me since I was watching some japanese koi keeping videos around that time as well! I gotta do more of that stuff, it was so fun.

Tasmanian tigers were such unique looking animals

Sometimes people think easkulls are dragonlike, but honestly the most refs I pull from are big cats or bulls or even pitbulls. I really love this structure! Plus leopards have amazing eyes

Going through some old art today and… I used to do some really cool stuff! Even my pencil skill and dedication to detail is surprising to me now..how it used to be. Clearly I had more will and patience. What happened? I want to try and reclain that in coming months.
