Introduction

Welcome to my little space on the internet!

Names Lola Kuula, but just Lola is fine! I don’t mind what pronouns you use for me, any of them are fine. I’m (mostly) a digital artist, who posts my art here. A lot of original character art with my other interest coming through sometimes.

I am very against generative AI and don’t support any use of it!

My art will stay more on the SFW side, although some mild gore and suggestive themes might come through reblogs and my own art. So any minors interacting with me, keep that in mind!

I DON’T DO Commission work at the moment, BUT if you send a request through my ask box I might draw it. You just don’t get to make changes to how I choose to interpret that ask.

Any fanart is fine, just keep the characters ages in mind when drawing them and don’t forget to tag me!

NEW ROBIN REF!!!!!

Not sure I’m entirely happy with the outfit, but it is definitely an improvement! I do really love how the head and new skin color turned out, plus now I have the two versions before and after losing his arm and getting the regen powers.

as you can tell, I adapted a lot of changes I made in my alternative outfit design for Robin I made a while ago, mainly the face, skin and prosthetic.

I really wanted the design to be top heavy to contrast against the long, thin legs, which is something I wasnt really able to achieve with the old one. I always wanted Robin's hoodie to be really oversized, but because it had to fit under the jean jacket, I couldnt commit to that exaggeration. This is why I changed the hoodie into the zip-up hoodie jacket with the halter top underneath, which is also convenient for quick transformation.

The oversized hoodie also gives the impression of being too small to fill the role expected of him, which fits well with the themes of his character and his apprenticeship with Nathan. The hoodie also has huge zipper teeth, making it look like he is being swallowed whole, reflecting Nathan's treatment of Robin and foreshadowing what happens later on. The blue hoodie strings also look as if the mouth swallowing Robin is crying: while Nathan is deliberately mistreating him, he still presents himself as a victim of his curse and is extremely emotionally unstable, leading to acting cold towards Robin in one moment and crying on his shoulder in the next.

The orange color also resembles the bright orange spot that a robin has on its chest. Not only that, but Alan's design also posesses a jacket with a teeth-like zipper, which is to show their similarities in their experiences with Nathan and how they mirror each other in the narrative. The light blue shorts with the fluffy ripped edges also resemble a sky with clouds, hinting at Robin's avian nature.

These are the guys whose exact sexuality is crucial either to their character or to their story, or I simply just wanted to confirm a specific identity just cause why not! Now, does this mean all my other ocs are straight? Nope, it just means idc if people have different headcanons for em HAHHAHA.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!! I am working on something that’s taking a while. Hopefully I'll finish it this month and won’t lose motivation because it would be very fitting to come out during pride month. here’s a cropped screenshot from that project

We found him in a cult because he was working as a guard and he promptly rolled two nat 1s while trying to attack us. He shot his own commander at point blank range with a longbow and that was when we knew: he was pure baby

So I redrew it! First picture is the redraw, second one is the original and third one is a redeisgine. I'm really proud of my art journey. There are things I want to improve on, but still really happy with the result <3
