what a fool, gabby thought as she witnessed the young man confronting the savior. granted she didn’t like them any more than the next guy but she knew better than to say anything about it, especially to their faces. after he scoffed and stormed off, gabby made her presence known to the other. “are you looking to get your ass whooped?!”

“Get my ass kicked by the Saviors, equivalent to getting fucked in the ass, or getting taken down by walkers cause I’ve got no way to protect myself, also equivalent to me getting fucked in the ass.” Teddy had no filter when it came to such things, in his mind, he had nothing else to lose.

Her eyes widened. She wasn’t exactly a newbie but she could also barely defend herself. “W-well my back hurts sometimes but other than th-that I I’m ok with it.” She shrugged. “I I have a few knives but n-nothing really useful.” She admitted. “I wouldn’t exactly know h-how to use them anyway.” She mumbled.

“I beg to differ. A knife is always better than having to use your hands or a rock or some shit like that. You know you’re always supposed to go for the head, right?” He looked a bit surprised when she admit she didn’t quite know how to use knives.

“How did you make it this far then?” He couldn’t help but ask. “I could probably teach you how to handle these knives, A little practice goes a long way.”

“I don’t know what I’d thought. I hoped they’d be smart, cause it doesn’t make much sense to disarm a bunch of people-- just takes away from our defense as a whole.”
