Camionera, butch, machorra, marimacho, dyke, tomboy. ‘Mujeres, una oda butch’ es una oda a la mujer que desafía las normas de la feminidad trayendo a la luz otras maneras de enter la masculinidad.
A través del acceso a la intimidad, cotidianidad y testimonios de estas mujeres “incorrectas”, así como sus inquietudes, miedos y placeres, la película busca conseguir un retrato poético y poliédrico de la “machorra" contemporánea.

Bull-dagger, marimacho, dyke, camionera, tomboy, butch. ‘Women, a butch ode’ is an ode to women defying the norms of femininity and bringing to light alternative ways of understanding masculinity.
Through intimate access to the daily life of different masculine presenting women, the film aims to create a multifaceted and poetic portrait of the contemporary butch. We will structure the film around themes like body, gender, community and identity, combining footage shot by the protagonists on their mobile phones with fiction scenes, and abstract footage.
