Always - Jungkook x Reader

His eyes sparkle when he looks at you, bunny teeth on show when he smiles.

You watch him from your place on the swinging bench, wondering what’s amusing him.

“Something funny?” You ask, voice catching in the breeze.

Jungkook shruggs and musses up his brown hair, sighing contendledly.

“You look beautiful, Y/N”.

You scoff instantly, looking down at your jeans and t-shirt.

“Are you kidding me? I look like-“.

“You look like a goddess, and I’m lucky to be standing here looking at you”. You stare at him, speechless for a moment as he comes to sit beside you, resting his head on your shoulder. He smells like Jungkook always does - warmth. Home. Love. “Love you so much, baby” he says quietly.

You kiss his cheek and he goes for a sneak attack, kissing your lips as you laugh.

“You’re adorable,” you decide, beaming at him. “I love you, too, Kookie”. With the sunset and the silence, it’s so easy to say: “Always”.

This makes his face light up immediately.

“Always,” he agrees, kissing your hand.
