"Well… only morons turn down food. Momma ain’t raise no chicken! I’ll have one, lady."
The lady behind the counter smiled and placed one of the Takoyaki on a paper plate, only handing it to Scout when he gave her the money. He eyed it suspiciously before stuffing the entire thing in his mouth.
"Mmph… it’sh… not that bad…"
"It has dried octopus inside!" exclaimed the lady.
Oh god.
Pyro watched him foolishly eat the food without consulting the booth's owner first. When the lady emitted "dried octopus", Pyro broke out into a fit of laughter.
Scout's horrified expression just sold it. He gave the woman a thumbs up, mumbling approvingly at her. Way to go lady! Maybe if we're lucky Scout will only think he has food poisoning for three hours.

It seemed as if Morgan’s little trick gave the Pyro a much needed boost! He was glad to help him out and really didn’t mind the whole fire thing, as long as it was harmless fire that just made to make a sky show, and not set anything on fire despite its intended purpose.
He’d turn back to his giant friend with a great big smile, closing the book and putting it back into his coat for safe keeping before looking up at the masked gentleman.
" Pretty cool, huh? Unfortunately I can’t do that a lot. The people here have only given me permission to do that about three times a day, and that was one out of the three. Sorry, but when I get full use of it back, then I’ll be sure to throw up some more fire balls for you! "
Morgan would nod his head at such a promise, not really questioning why his huge buddy liked fire. It was probably the same reason why Frederick liked camp fires so much for some odd reason.
" Do you need anything else, big guy? I helped you out find your apartment and stuff, but if you need anything else from me, just lemme know! "
Morgan said something about not being able to use his magic three times a day. Why would the scientists limit somebody like that? Was it the same reason why they took his 'tools'?
That was all he could assume. He shrugged, facing Morgan as he closed up the book. Pyro followed in step with Morgan as he headed up to the apartments, and once Morgan passed his own door, Pyro gave him a goodbye, and walked off to his own apartment.
He was amused at least. Now that he's got a new friend, and that they could create fire from their hands was very good to know! Pyro was excited to know about their friend's ability. Morgan better expect more visits from him at this rate.
He turned the knob to his own apartment door, and headed on in. Might as well jump back into that hypnotizing land of television. He sat onto the couch with a bounce, and reached for the remote. Clicking on the power, he resumed watching the program that was on earlier.
Now all he had to do is wait for his roommates.
{Hey everyone! Does anyone want to interact with this mute fire-loving maniac? If you wish too, please like this post or send me a message!}

Another great video by Callegos!
"Sweet! Let’s go see!"
Scout immediately went for the booth nearest them, which seemed to be selling some sort of rolled up bread balls with red sauce on them.
"…The hell is this?"
Pyro only answered his question about the food with a shrug. He didn't know what it was, he didn't know what a lot of things were outside of the badlands, and he could only assume that this was just foreign food, obviously.
But still, it looked questionable, since he's never seen food like that before. He couldn't taste it himself, but maybe Scout oughta give it a shot? He nodded over to the bread balls and pointed at him, so he can get a good idea of what it is like.

" Alright! We should probably take this outside, though. Magic is kinda crazy, and I don’t want to risk firing this in such an enclosed space. But once we’re outside, the sky’s literally the limit! "
Morgan would take the Pyro outside and wait for him to lock his door before going down the stairs with him to the relatively empty lot that was Sector 5’s parking lot. There weren’t a lot of cars parked around this time and there was no rain. Perfect for a fire show!
Opening up his robes a little bit, Morgan would pull out what looked like an old, red leathered book before standing a bit away from the Pyro. Opening it up, he’d hold his hand up in the air. In what seemed like a sense of magic, the pages of the book started to flip by themselves, a glyph appearing over his hand as he aimed for the air above.
With one thrust of his hand upwards, a large ball of fire would shoot out from Morgan’s hands and right up into the air, disappearing after lingering for a little bit up into the atmosphere, Morgan with a proud smile on his face.
" So so? How was that? Pretty cool, huh! And it’s not just limited to that! If I had more tomes around, I could do different versions of fire, including ones that can hit things from super far away! Like a sniper shot! "
Pyro sat down on the ground, excited to see the show. His legs crossed and his hands holding up his head, he watched eagerly. Morgan had shot a flame right out of his palm and into the atmosphere, and Pyro let out a surprised grunt.
Who know a boy could shoot fire out of his hands so easily? He kept watching the fireball until it was a speck in the clouds, unable to be identified. He still kept his eyes up into the sky for a while, and then stood up, seeing if he could get a better look. Even then, it was gone. He looked back at Morgan, excited.
Watching the boy shoot a ball of flame right out of his palm and into the sky was almost mesmerizing. It was almost as enjoyable as watching somebody launch fireworks into the sky, and trying to catch the embers that fell from the sky.
The fact that the boy could unleash power like that was amazing. Pyro wasn't unfamiliar with spell-books, he's even used some to cast his own spells, but the talk about tomes was unfamiliar. He's never heard about what a tome was, but he just nodded, still in awe of the boy's magic.
He had fired flames from his hands before hand, but he wasn't sure why, but he couldn't anymore. At least he had a friend who could so he would be entertained that way.
He gave Morgan a happy nod, glad to see that his friend was considerate of his interest with fire.

"Have ya tried any of it yet? We should totally try some out. I’m starvin’, here."
Yeah, maybe heading out to grab a bite to eat couldn't hurt, right? Pyro agreed, giving not only a nod, but an approving mumble behind his mask.
"Really? Ya don’t know? That sucks… but hey, the food smells awesome!"
At least that Pyro can agree on. The food he could fit into his filter tasted okay. Which weren't many, but they were still something. He responded with a subtle nod.
"Mumbles! What the hell’s goin’ on here? You’re the one into all the cute fluffy things, so you’d know what kinda thing they’re doin’ here, right? Right?"
Pyro responded with a shrug. He had no clue what was going on. But he liked it! People looked really happy and excited, and it meant something fun was going on, right? So he was very excited for whatever it was.
Everybody looks so pretty! Is there something going on? People are dressed up in cute little dresses and robes, and it makes Pyro feel all fuzzy and warm inside. They all look really happy too.
I Don't Believe In Magic [CA Open/CA Intro]
Morgan would watch as the Pyro apparently got incredibly excited about seeing the fire, moving out of his way so that he could get a much better viewing of the odd box creating the flames. Well, the name the Pyro seemed to make a lot more sense now, seeing as he was so entranced by the flames and the like.
It was almost like looking in a mirror to see how much this grown adult loved to see the flames flicker about on the box. Although it did kind of peak Morgan’s curiosity about how this thing worked. It seemed that every dial was hooked up with one circular plate, and that the further you turned it to one end, the stronger the flames. Being able to control fire like that seemed really interesting.
" Wow.. this place just has more amazing things each day.. being able to control fire like this seems really impressive, and useful! So that you don’t accidentally burn anything, isn’t that right big g— "
Morgan would watch as the Pyro’s attention was now onto the apparent piece of cloth that he was burning. Morgan had to stifle a bit of a laugh, wondering what was so amazing about it but he seemed to like it quite a bit. It gave Morgan a bit of an idea, and it might make him happy. Pulling out what looked like a dusty old book, he’d hold it in front of the Pyro.
" You probably don’t know this, but I know some magic! It’s very common where I’m from to where you can do lots of things with it. One if those things is the ability to make fire! "
The fire was beginning to die down on the handkerchief, mostly because there was hardly any handkerchief left to be burnt. Hopefully that wasn't special to anyone. Oh well.
Now that the fire was gone, Morgan had mentioned something about magic and fire again, and that absolutely caught his attention. He sat right in front of him on the ground, intrigued about what Morgan could do with any magic.
He's seen magic before, hell, he's been attacked by and even killed by magic before. Magic's shrunk and expanded his head before. Magic has lowered gravity for him before. Magic has also made it rain some body fluids, but let's not go there.
Let's just say the last magician he came across was killed. More or Less by himself, but that was just because he was turning people's heads into bombs as well. (Another long story.)
But Morgan seemed like a good person, so maybe their magic won't be as violent as Merasmus' was. It's not like it isn't worth a shot to pay attention.
Pyro was ready for any magic Morgan would dish out at him.
"Hold up——!"
"Where did I ever state that we were debating in a court of law? In fact——I actually denied that such a thing ever existed in the first place! I’ve already got clarity——you’re the deluded one here!"
"And there in lies your contradiction dear Emiya. This entire discussion was based on a court system. Looks like game over for you.”
"Murr hurr mphuphurrur, hurr mph phrr."
