Am I just going to slot this poor boy into every fandom? Signs are pointing to yes at this point lol. Ok so I've had either a JJK/HOTD and JJK/GOT crossover rumbling around my brain for ages now and its gotten to a boiling point lol. The JJK/GOT would probably be Satoru/Robb Stark and the JJK/HOTD probably Satoru/Aegon II. I have them pretty fleshed out in my head ngl.
THE PROBLEM is that I love his name, Satoru, and it literally makes no sense to have him reincarnate into ASOIAF works and somehow end up with that name, which means I would need to change it, and I don't know wtf to change it to.
Literally grasping at straws rn lol. I lowkey like Soren since it sounds Valyrian enough and also I feel like Satoru would be over the moon about it because he'd share a name with one of his favorite Fire Emblem characters.
Anyway the HOTD one would be a isekai/reincarnation AU with Satoru as Daemon and Rheanyra's surprise brothel baby that Rheanyra had to get shotgun-wedding'd to Leanor for 😅 so yeah Satoru is once again causing chaos and problems for other people just by existing... this time before he was even born! He's also called the Radiant Prince and also still the Honored One because he's basically a god and everyone in HOTD is going to damn well know it.

In this life, as in his last, his birth was heralded with reverence and veneration, and wrought with untenable legacy.
He was the firstborn son of the Realm’s Delight, lovely and fair and every bit as preternaturally beautiful as his mother. He was said to have his grandmother’s Arryn blue eyes, the king’s tousled white curls, his mother’s smile, and the very birthright of his great Valyrian heritage etched into his very existence; from his heavenly features, to his dragon, to the very name bestowed upon him.
For days on end the whole realm celebrated his birth as a magnificent affair; bells tolled long into the night, nobles spilled from the four corners of Westeros bearing gifts of abundance and splendor, the smallfolk celebrated en masse along the streets of King’s Landing.
They called him a blessed child, a perfect child, a glorious new heir for the throne.
Upon his very birth the Princess Rheanys was said to have looked into his heavenly eyes and pronounced him a gift from the gods of old Valyria. Those same eyes, a precious, celestial blue resembling the late Queen Aemma, were said to have reduced his grandfather the King to tears from the moment he opened them. Lord Velaryon had named them a mark of the gods’ favor; such a curious, mystifying color, never settling no matter the lighting, as mercurial as a tempest sea.
Just the mere sight of such a marvelous child, a mortal so obviously marked by the gods, so destined for greatness, could easily quell the rumors beginning long before his birth.
Such derelict hearsay would never grace the ears of such a divine prince, of course. But he heard it anyway.
They rushed the wedding, they said.
The princess was meant to start her royal procession to select her prince consort, but instead was married to the Velaryon heir within a moon’s turn. (The King had to appease the Velaryon’s somehow, after the way he snubbed their pure Valyrian heiress for his Hightower bride.)
The babe came early— so suspiciously early. (The Princess Rheanyra was so young, of course she would have difficulty carrying to term. Didn’t you see him? The babe was born so small!)
And he looks every bit a Targaryen, not a speck of Velaryon to be seen on him. (But of course the blood of Aegon the Conqueror would run strong within the royal line— and the Princess Rheanys is his paternal grandmother, such features run on both sides. Why, look at Queen Alicent's children! Do they look Hightower to you?)
The Rogue Prince dotes on him, shockingly so. He perhaps even reconciled with his brother just to remain near the young prince. (The Rogue Prince has always remained stoutly devoted to his family, no matter his unsavory reputation, his loyalty to the throne is unquestioned. That he is just as devoted to his brother’s heir as he is to his brother is merely filial piety.)
No matter the rumors swirling around him, it only took a single glance from his blessed blue eyes to halt the whispers in their tracks.
His divine beauty and grace, his mystical eyes, his magnificent dragon— such pedestrian slander seemed silly and absurd in the face of them.
To question the legitimacy of the Radiant Prince, the Honored One… no mere mortal could possibly be capable of uttering such blasphemy.
I think I'm gonna call it "Write myself out of the history books" a line from All Time Low to match the rest of my 'Dropping Gojo into fandoms he didn't ask to be in' works 😂
His name is Soren and let's just pretend its Valyrian when in actuality it's just one of my favorite Fire Emblem characters (I feel like Gojo would appreciate that though, prolly a Soren stan himself lol)
His dragon hatches in his crib and idk I headcanon that Rhaenyra would wait to let him name it himself because she probably did the same with Syrax? But then 2 yr-old Gojo is like 'her name is Blue Eyes White Dragon' and Rheanyra is like 'wtf no' and also, this is why you shouldn't let kids name their own damn dragons. Rhaenyra refuses to let him name his dragon after what she doesn't realize is a Yu-gi-oh card, and in they settle for Sylvion, which she thinks is just some obscure Valyrian word/reference his 'Uncle' Daemon taught him, but is in fact a Pokemon that bears striking resemblance to his dragon. It's one of Dreamfyre's eggs, mostly bright white, with blue accents and some slight pink in the membranes, hence, Sylvion. Which is also Gojo's favorite pokemon, so he's two for two with references in this life.
He knows damn well that Daemon is not his Uncle, and they (Rhaenyra, Daemon, Laenor) all know he knows even if they collectively don't acknowledge it. He's Daemon and Rhaenyra's 'accidental brothel baby' that she had to get shotgun wedding'd to Laenor for, which is why he's much older than canon-Jace.
The age gaps are: Satoru/Soren (0), Aegon (+2), Helaena (-1), Aemond (-2), Jace (-3), Luke (-4) idk if Joff or Daeron will be in this.
Aegon is in love with him literally at first sight. He's going to PINE FOREVER. Like so much angst when he realizes he doesn't just adore his nephew in a purely platonic sense - which his mother/grandfather already dislike - but is in fact homosexually and audaciously in love with him lol. He definitely tries to fuck himself out of his own gayness, which absolutely does not work, esp when he starts ending up gravitating to regular female whores to male whores who all bear a striking resemblance to his nephew.
Does Gojo know? Hmm yes but not really. It doesn't even cross his mind even though he is also very gay, and also knows incest is casually a normal thing in the Valyrian family. But to him, Aegon is his uncle, and also a man in a 'don't say gay' world, so he kind of intentionally doesn't look too deeply into it. He does notice Egg is very attached to him, but he's not sure how much of that is familial and platonic and just Egg's very handsy personality versus romantic. They played a lot together as kids, slept in the same bed etc back when they were young enough it didn't mean anything, and obviously Gojo never felt that way about what he thought was a 'cute sticky dumpling of a kid who thinks he hung the moon' so it'll be a longgg and difficult shift for him to see Egg in any other way.
Aemond worships him in a strictly platonic sense that totally feeds his god complex. Gojo is literally the warrior reborn to him. He's a one man army and everyone knows it and he's so out of any mortal's league instead of being jealous about it Aemond just straight up adores him like a god. Daemon and Laena don't get together in this fic (RIP Baela and Rhaena) so Laena is still alive and has Vhagar, so idk maybe Aemond has Vermithor.
On a related note, everyone worships him as a god (or a Valyrian devil, *ahem* Hightowers *ahem*) bc to them he may as well be one. He has all his OG powers, he's invincible and untouchable and literally unstoppable. He achieves infamy the world over during Stepstones Round 2 where he absolutely obliterates an entire army and a few islands besides. He straight up asks his 'grandfather' Corlys if he should just eradicate the whole island chain and permanently solve the problem. Of course, the story gets convoluted with the whole medieval 'he said she said' chain of communication so there are plenty of non-believers still. LOL jokes on them.
He adores Rhaenyra. Like he likes Laenor a lot, and is partial to his little brothers (yes Jace and Luke exist, idk if they're Laenor's or Daemon's yet tho. They would't be Harwins bc Rhaenyra took one look at Gojo and was like 'shit he's 100% Valyrian its gonna look weird as hell if his siblings dont look like him at all') and has a soft spot for his 'Uncle' Daemon, but the reason he even bothers to stick around and not just fuck off to Essos to raise his own empire is because of her. I headcanon Gojo to have zero relationship with his parents in JJK - which unfortunately is expected from 'the patriarch' aka his father, but deeply hurt him in regards to his mother, who also cared nothing for him. Yes total double standard, but that's patriarchy for you. Anyway Rhaenyra is the opposite - she cherishes him from day 1, and whether that's because she truly loved him at first sight or just loved the idea of a child of hers and Daemon's who knows. But she doted on him and took care of him in a way anomalous for mother's in Westeros, and Gojo always took note of that. He'd burn the world for her - or in this instance, cower it into submission so she can have her throne in peace.
He doesn't mind playing the 'radiant prince' for her, being the faultless and impossibly perfect heir to the throne, because he knows it strengthens her claim immeasurably when his achievements so obviously outshine her direct competitor (Egg, who in fact does not give a shite about the throne and just wants to run away on his dragon with Soren). He even quietly submits himself to the idea of taking a wife because he knows that's also expected of him, although he plans on copying Laenor and having some threesome magic going on. Will that have to come to pass though? Hmm idk yet
THERE WILL BE ZOMBIES. No Night King, but I absolutely believe that Gojo accidentally would become the Prince who was Promised. His birth once again upsets the balance of yet another world, and shifts events into motion that would have laid dormant otherwise. Does he bring magic back into world with his birth? That would be interesting. Idk yet tho.

Possibly the best way to describe this series is as the platonic ideal of an Obi-Wan time travel fic. Weird Force stuff? Check. Obi-Wan having spent years on Tatooine? Check. Qui-Gon surviving? Check. Obi-Wan doing some shady illegal stuff to get money and infiltrate crime rings so he can save the galaxy? Check. Anakin being adorable as an initiate, and Shmi being saved from Tatooine? Check. Surprise Feemor? Check. It's all the bits you (or at least I) hope for when opening a new Obi-Wan Time Travel fic, and it never feels stale or repetitive or cliche. It's just a Very Good Fic.

Poseidon: Perseleia was passionate about life, Arsinoë was more subdued and nuanced like she didn’t know how to go about it.
Hera: I’m like 80% sure they hated men. Except Perseleia had that thing with Apollo and before Hermes messed up he had a thing for Arsinoë but I’m like 70% sure Arsinoë and Artemis had a thing but were dancing around it and didn’t realize it.

It's revenge for Apollo making his kids wake up at ungodly hours with terrible music/poetry, usually about Perseleia. Apollo was flabbergasted, horribly proud and just feeling terrible overall. He forgot to sing his kids awake for 1 month straight because he was sobbing into tubs of ice-cream and bingewatching star wars.
So in Athenian au would Apollo bless randomly singer ( Taylor swift, harry styles etc) because Perse use to sing part of their songs. And he’s thinking that these singers must be part of something important.

My canonical Riordanverse belief is that I think Zeus is jealous that Percy is Poseidon's son and not his. Let me break it down for you– Percy is named after Zeus's son Perseues and has nearly accomplished every feat a Greek hero would have done much like his other son, Hercules. Because of his quests and his feats–Percy is widely considered one of the most powerful demigod in existence–something i genuinely think Zeus resents because its Poseidon's legacy receiving the glory.
Zeus targets Percy from the beginning something he doesn't do to Nico, Hazel or even Luke. He makes Percy's life harder on purpose at every turn (burning his kite down when Percy was only 8) and even in the show, treats Percy like garbage (dismissing his concerns of fucking Kronos).
Maybe its because unlike his two children–who were raised by a woman who didn't want Zeus's kids and one of whom doesn't even like her father and his domain- Percy loves the sea and everything to do with it. Much of his dislikes and likes are ocean related (saltwater taffy, blue food, Montauk beach). Percy loving his father's domain allows Percy to have a control over his powers that by the time he is nearly 18, Percy can control any liquid not just water.

Maybe just maybe, Zeus fears the consequences of Poseidon having the most powerful demigod on his side who would take his father's side if Poseidon ever declared war on Zeus's throne.
Totally agree. And on that note, I think the offer of immortality is most interesting if you interpret it as an underhanded method of control.
There's precedent for this in Greek mythology. Heracles intimidated the gods; then he becomes a god, is married off to Hebe, and the problem seems to be solved. In PJO, we see him living in bitterness; divinity has, if anything, ruined his life, not improved it.
If you are a god on Mt Olympus, you are under Zeus' rule. He is your king. If he offers you divinity, remember, he can also take it away. Riordan literally has him do this to Apollo, who would almost certainly rank above Percy if he became a god (Percy was offered godhood, not a position as an actual Olympian). As king of the gods, Zeus can mete out punishment as he likes. Additionally, he can arrange marriages as he likes, and we've seen him use this to great effect in Greek mythology.
Thetis is prophesied to bear a son greater than his father. So, Zeus arranges her marriage to a mortal.
Aphrodite is so desirable that Zeus realizes there's a very real possibility that the Olympians will descend into war for her hand. So, he cuts it off at the pass and arranges her marriage to Hephaestus.
What i am saying is, if Zeus makes Percy a god, he establishes absolute control over him; Percy's divinity would come FROM ZEUS and could be rescinded at any time. Percy would have to play by godly rules, particularly those around contact with demigods and mortals. And if all that isn't enough, I absolutely believe Zeus would arrange a marriage to lock him down.
That's a fun thought experiment, actually. Who would Zeus make Percy marry? Anyway. All this to say that i definitely agree with OP, and think Zeus was trying to stop Percy from accumulating any more feats of heroism by offering godhood at the end of the Titan War.
Random Thought #42: Just remembered that debate I had about whether or not Shi Qingxuan could have survived being haunted by the reverend of empty words post Shi Wudu ascending to godhood, and it suddenly hit me: whether or not Shi Qingxuan himself could have withstood its harassment as an attendant god in the middle court is irrelevant. He Xuan became a ghost and ate that bitch. Problem permanently solved. Why did Shi Wudu choose the morally bankrupt route of destroying someone’s life to “save” his brother when he could have also just…destroyed the thing itself????
For the kronide au, Percy gets to be the one who inherited prophecy from Kronos instead of Poseidon, so she gets to be the one to teach Apollo? Also some paranoia from Zeus if she got prophecy maybe? Because it would be like she chose her siblings out of self-preservation via future sight, instead of loyalty

Which brings me to the topic I’m dropping: Percy has a striking resemblance with Hera. Which adds to the level of headache Percy brings to Olympus.
This and the fact that Athena is the only kid of Zeus who doesn’t look that much like him… and most of his kids are like… blonde. There really exceptions, ofc, like Thalia and Dionysus… But I fear he’s losing the fight against making blonde babies.
Which makes Hera really mad bcs her kids don’t look like her at all.
Poseidon and Triton seeing a new-born(?) Athena looking like a Nereid/Oceanid: I mean, if no one wants to raise her, we can do it? She might actually be one of us?
