Kylie sighed dejectedly at the realization that the girl she had bumped into once again was none other than her supposed soulmate, which was as awkward as it could get. “Yeah, I’m aware of that fact”, she replied, running a hand through the mess of blonde, silky hair before her eyes casted on the brunette standing in front of her. “But apparently fate likes mocking us because it keeps happening”, she added, it wasn’t the first time they had suddenly bumped into each other and they both knew about the comments behind their backs about it.
Mila wasn’t sure what was going on today. As much as she tried to avoid Kylie it seemed as if they’d always find themselves staring at one another awkwardly. It was beginning to feel like they had a gravitational pull towards one another which was just really weird and annoying. It hadn’t been long since the brunette found out who exactly happened to be her soulmate and the whole thing was blowing a bit out of proportion. Just because the blond was her soulmate didn’t mean they’d end up together. It meant they should be together but that didn’t mean that either of them had to have feelings for each other, and if they did so what? What makes them so different from everyone else? Sighing softly, she smiled awkwardly before looking around at everyone else. “Maybe we’re putting too much energy into the whole ignoring each other thing? Maybe if we stop trying to hard then it could somehow become a natural thing—us not seeing each other around all the time.”
