This was a really fun exercise in comic-making too. I really enjoyed the process even though I might. be. exaggerating it in the writing department. LOL. well I wanted to see gru a little more wretched. Certainly not deserved, but he's got shit to go through.

Also I will say, this was partly inspired by a scrapped storyboarded scene for DM3 by Cinzia Angelini called Leaving Freedonia. One of Gru's lines really hit me hard, and I was like damn I gotta make them argue about something.
