I was thinking of Kirby's Return to Dream Land (Deluxe) ending. That Magolor tricked Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee into finding and collecting his missing piece and then defeated Landia, and then Magolor took the Master Crown to turn himself into Traitor Magolor.

Wait a second?

For a game like Kirby's Return to Dream Land, that cutscene is pretty dark if you think about it; they failed to stop Magolor.

Imagine If A.) Magolor take over the galaxy, B.) Kirby's team arrived too late, or C.) both?

The Cuphead Show: Extra Story 1: Candy Run!:

Sequel to the Sweet Temptation from Season 2, Episode 5

Follow the previous Episode, Cuphead and Mugman are still stuck being candy and need to go back to normal before Elder Kettle tries to catch them. Outside, they hide the brush and how to cure them. Since they can't move their bodies, they have to move themselves but can't. Until Ms. Chalice appeared to help them, she heard the boys had been turned into candy and needed to get them back to normal. As Chalice saw Elder Kettle, she grabbed the boys and ran together. Until she hides them and discusses how to make a cure. But they are in the city, the civilians saw them and tried to eat them, Chalice took the boys and ran and hid. Luckily, the mobs went the wrong direction, and Chalice ran with the boys until someone else used smoke to target them. Fortunately, Cuphead and Mugman were back to normal. Chalice is so happy with them that they are back to normal. Unaware of that, the civilians still run in the wrong direction. Meanwhile, a spy, who cured the boys, is now happy and has left.

Trivia:

The reason why I made the sequel story it's that the episode has no cure, only confusion, when in the next episode, the boys are back to normal for no reason. So I made one.

This fan-made continuation fixes the confusing ending.

The main ending is still also funny; I just wanted to imagine how it might have been resolved. I thought other fans might enjoy closure, too.
