here's my take on a cured Jax design! aka reversed abstraction scenario~

for this design I tried to be as respectful as possible, as I'm not trans myself, so that's I researched genderfluid experiences. I've read a lot, but one in particular caught my eye: this person in particular would use a rings system to help their friends know which pronouns are to be used that moment, so if they were wearing 1 ring on their hand, it would be she/her, if 2, he/him and 3, they/them. I thought that was pretty neat! So I incorporated this idea on Jax's placement of his (or ribbit's) bow. Of course, I'm always open on being educated about the topic, so feel free to share your thoughts or just leave a comment appreciating the art c:

after the feedback I've received, I'd like to possibly go back to the drawing board ^^ the genderfluid HC was on my mind for a good while but I've seen opinions shared by trans women that I unfortunately made upset and I'd like to do better so please, I want to hear your opinion on my approach with Harlequin Jax! Should I rework her to be close to canon? stay as it is? Give me signnnnn (hit me baby one more time)

i got my friend to watch episode 1 of digital circus last friday at college and today she comes to me saying she watched 7 episodes and begging me to say which one *spoiler* in episode 9 for me to be so sad for 3 days straight OHHH SHES IN FOR A RIDE

Can I just say that your artstyle is probably my most favorite artstyle in this fandom? Like, it looks so classic Disney or Don Bluth. I can genuinely see Ragatha being the type to bake pies on weekends for the gang and even give Caine and Bubble a slice. Genuinely love your artstyle, so CottageCore.

awww thank youuu! I really like the vintage looks of Disney cartoons, I guess I kinda implemented some aspects of that style when drawing the tadc crew lol

If Whiskin were to abstract, what do you think would cause it and how would everyone react to it?

i guess that would take a person she deeply cares about to throw the cold truth about her situation in an aggressive way, like real exploding on her, since abstraction is basically self-offing per say, that would be too much for her

Are you still alive after the release of the TADC 9 ep?

I am! it just that college has been taking most of my time, but I assure I continue to love tadc the same as before and even bought tickets to see on theaters from day 1 and have a Pomni cosplay ready to use teehee

Would caine town down the intensity of his adventures for whiskin or would they still be chaotic (but with a slite child friendly adjustment)

a bit of both? his way of toning down might just make it equally as chaotic as the usual adventure

Let’s say, hypothetically, Whiskin’s stepmom and dad joined the Digital Circus. How would everyone treat them? My personal hcs.

Caine is oblivious to what horrible MONSTERS they are, and has Whiskin spend time with em, believing he’s reuniting them.

Bubble is also unaware, and even gave Caine the idea to “reunite” them (I’m a ThoughtBubble believer)

Pomni is actually f**king enraged and is holding the urge to pummel them both out of existence.

Ragatha is constantly giving them dirty looks. Specially he step mother

Jax actually beats up her father, and has to be held back before he can do anything else.

Kinger is utterly DISGUSTED. Even in light.

Gangle is afraid of them, and doesn’t get involved. They make her uncomfortable with what they say.

Zooble straight up cusses them out. “NOW LISTEN HERE YOU PATHETIC PIECES OF (boink) IF YOU LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER I WILL PERSONALLY KICK YOUR (honk)ING (squeak)SES TO MOTHER (dolphin noise)ING HELL DO YOU (wilhem scream)ING UNDERSTAND ME!?!?”
