First Date. || Loni and Nick.

"It is a little, isn’t it?" He replied, slipping own jacket off before going up to the woman that was working on the front tonight. "Hey, uh, reservation for two for Nick Hart?" He said with a smile. The woman nodded and picked up two menus before showing them to their table, putting the menu’s on the table and walking away. Nick grinned and pulled out Loni’s chair for her, pushing it in when he was supposed to before sitting down himself.

"yeah it is." she walked with them sitting down when nick pulled out her chair. Loni sat down and grabbed the menu looking at it. Everything looked real nice, she felt out of place. She'd never been anywhere fancy she reached down and fiddled with her heel briefly. She felt odd in the heels but good odd.She looked through the menu and bite her bottom lip. What should she order. "See anything you like?" she asked examining the menu.

"It’s what I would think." He reassured her with his cheeky grin. "I guess we are. Kinda takes the pressure off a little. I mean, now I know you’ve got no previous dates to compare to, I can be the one to set the standard." He chuckled as they approached the restaurant. Nick let go of her hand and rushed forward to do the gentlemanly thing and hold the door open for her with a charming little smile.

She laughed "Well, I guess so." she ran her hand through her hair once more and smiled as he opened the door. Loni stepped inside and looked around the restaurant. "This is really nice." she told him. She couldn't believe someone would take her somewhere like this. The girl shrugged off her jacket and held it in her hands. "It's warm in here."

Nick couldn’t help but chuckle at her words, biting his lip softly. “You could be wearing sweats and you’d still look beautiful.” He replied, looking over at her. “I’ve never been on a date either so I didn’t exactly know what to wear..” He stated, looking down at himself with yet another chuckle. He started walking hand in hand with her, making his way to the restaurant which, luckily, was only about a ten minute walk. He was nervous about this, obviously, but he just told himself that as long as he acted like himself and didn’t try too hard he’d be fine.. It’d go fine and who knows, maybe she’d actually like him and he’d like her in that way by the end of it. Loni was very attractive after all and she had a great personality.

"Well, I thank you for the complement. i doubt it though." she murmured running a hand through her hair. "Well then were both newbies at it huh?" she teased and then looked down at their hands and blushed a bit. Why hadn't he let her hand go. She looked ahead to see for restaurant. The holding hands felt weird she'd never held anyone's hand and it made her insides bubbly like excited though it felt funny.

Nick rushed around getting ready for his date with Loni. He had no clue what to wear at all seeing as he’d never really been on a date before. Sure, he’d been with people but them people he’d been in a relationship with, he never went on dates with them. Finally he settled on some nice pants and a shirt with some equally as nice shoes before setting off, walking as fast as he could to the bookstore. When he saw her there he couldn’t help but smile brightly over at her. He approached his date and grinned, offering his hand to her so they could start walking to the restaurant. “You look beautiful, Loni.”

She stood up and grabbed his hand and then looked at him. She bit her lip. "I'm wearing heels. apparently that was necessary when you go on dates." she laughed gently. "I've never been on a date and I wouldn't know." she looked at him. "You look very nice." The girl ran a hand through her hair. She was happy he'd made it but was nervous what was going to happen now. Loni had never been a relationship, had a boyfriend or been kissed. She had knew clue how to act on dates hopefully she'd be fine. She could act like herself and they could have fun.

Loni had been feeling weird about going on this date ever since she won it. She never thought she'd go on a date with a boy and them both enjoy it. She was nervous and told her therapist and she came picked her up. She felt so girlie when her therapist helped her get ready. She had nice clothes left over from her. She put on some nice pants a shirt that covered her scars on her arms mostly and some heels. The heels she was hesitant about but was reassured she'd look all the more better. She put on her jacket and headed to the bookstore to meet Nick. She sat on a bench  and waited for Nick. She fiddled with her thumbs. In the girls mind was a thought she wouldn't show up and she was nervous about it becoming true.

Me too! It’s such a pain in the ass and now it’s going to hurt all day.

I burnt my tongue on my tea today, and I don’t think I could be more sad about it.
