Audition Form 

Audition Form : Before you fill this out, please look over and sign the rules or your audition will automatically be rejected. Also when submitting in an audition, remember to do so in a message with the subject line as audition: face claim name. Out of character 001.) Guidelines. 

GENERAL THINGS

London Dreams is based out of London, England.

London Dreams allows writers to explore characters living in and around the UK. We are a normal verse roleplaying group that focuses on everyday life.

This group is based on original characters. This is a build your own scenario that must fit within the normal verse, therefore no supernatural characters are accepted at this time. That being said, this is a first come - first serve basis. So please make note of any taken information, names etc listed here [ link coming soon]

This group is a mixture of site and discord based, which means that most of your activity can be done on discord, however individual storylines can co-exist on either site and or personal servers. Please note this  also means that any potential members must be willing to both have discord and be active within our discord chat. If this does not appeal to you, then this may not be the group for you.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

As stated above, this is going to be a fairly active group with site and discord presence. We have a site page due to needing one for recruiting purposes, but that's about it. Mostly everything will be announced within our server, so upon approval, you will be added to the server by the owners.

Our activity requirements aren't very strict – they're actually pretty simple, all things considered. You will find those below:

Our members are expected to participate in our group chat on discord. If they haven't posted in any way in over seven days, they are at risk of being removed. We’re trying to produce an active, familial atmosphere, so we think this is fair. (Obviously, exceptions will be made for hiatuses and the like on a case-by-case basis.)

Our members must post at least one character development piece a week. This can either be in the form of the weekly prompt, a starter/reply to one of your connections, and or a drabble.

Our members must have an updated owes list posted somewhere, either in their personal quarters, in a private discord server, or on the site but admin’s but me made aware of where this owes list resonates as we will need to make sure that they are being completed.

Our members must have at least four 1x1 storylines at all times after they've hit their one month mark.

Writing can be done on discord, or on site. However, please note that Admins will need access to make sure the writing is being completed. All 1x1 writing, discord or site, should be at least three paragraphs with five to seven sentences, minimum. If you cannot handle this, then this is probably not the group for you. Group roleplay replies on discord should be a maximum of one paragraph, 3-5 sentences. 

A SAFE PLACE

We absolutely shouldn't have to make this a rule, because yikes, but please be respectful in joining our group. We are a LGBTQ+ safe place and do not care who resides behind the screen. Just that everyone is treated like an equal. If there are any violations to this rule there will be no strike system in place, you will be instantly removed from our group. 

We will not be making this its own rule, but OOC drama will not be tolerated. We’ll be nice and give our members a three strike system, but if it continues, we will remove the person from our group (or This is to be a safe place and we will not allow anyone to ruin that for anyone else. If you plan to audition and have problems with someone here, do us a favor and check your baggage at the door – do not bring it here.

As a member of London Dreams you will be required to add everyone from the group to your site page, you do not have to add everyone to your discord just have the server, and group owners.

That being said, if an issue arises within the group you must reach out to the admin with solid proof of conflict and we will try to mediate the best situation for the group as a whole. No blocking should be done without the approval of the admin. 

CHARACTERS

In addition to the rules above, we’d also like to address something else here: love interests. 

We are by no means going to force anyone to ship with anyone else, though – if it doesn't work out, it doesn’t work out. However, we will not tolerate harassment of any kind if parties move on. 

If this occurs, you will be violating the safe place rules, and you’ll need to speak with us so we know what is going on, and we’ll work with both parties to find a solution everyone is happy with.

You are required to hold 4 connections at all times.

Changes to your characters storyline, faceclaim, etc are limited to once per month and must be submitted to your members box within the group server page before a change occurs.

Pregnancies and Marriages are allowed, but we ask that you at least be apart of the group 1 month before you decide to take place in either of the storylines. If you wish to have your character go through a pregnancy or marriage you will need to submit the request in the members box, only to make sure that we are not overloading the amount of babies born at once. The only other rule we have for this is that pregnancies last 3 months to make sure there is enough time frame for all characters. RP time does move faster people, no need to hog the irl 9 months.

All applications will need to come through our site page, simply because we’re not going to open our discord up to just anyone at this time. Thanks for understanding.

Please make sure you are utilizing Grammarly for your sample responses before submitting. We all make typos, but the foundations of writing should apply to your samples and overall writing in this group, we all have a life outside role-play but the effort must be made there.
