Snarriet (Female Harry/Snape):

Harrie's cat: The war is over. Voldemort is dead, and so is Snape. Harrie came back to Hogwarts to teach Defense. One night, she comes across a wounded cat...

Siren's Song: Harriet is having a pretty normal day until suddenly, everyone in Hogwarts seems to fall in love with her. Everyone, except Snape.

Saving Snape: a post Second Wizarding war fic. Severus Snape is receiving death threats, and Auror Harrie Potter volunteers to protect him. Lots of sexual tension, classic Snarry bickering, and some smut.

Harrie and her Alpha: An A/B/O fic. Harrie needs an Alpha and Snape happens to be the only one available. They both hate it, until they don't. (Started as a crack fic and then got serious.)

Snape's cat: A short fic that's a mix between crack and fluff, with a little bit of smut on the side. Harrie's Animagus form is a cat. Snape is a cat person.

blades, clashing (hearts, burning): a Star Wars AU. Snape is a Sith tasked with hunting down Harrie. Expect a lot of sexual tension, as well as the Enemies to Lovers and Hate Sex tropes.

The Haunting of Harrie Potter: a oneshot that starts after the final battle, which ended the canon way, with Snape dying. Now Harrie takes care of his grave. Except someone keeps disturbing the flowers there...

and his shadow fell over me: Vampire Snape and Harriet after the war. It's bloody, complicated, and they fuck a lot.

Sins of the flesh: a Muggle AU with Priest!Snape. Harriet finds out things aren't what they seem at St Hogwarts' Catholic School for Girls... with some light Harrymort as well.

Harrie's kinky adventures, 2024 edition: my Kinktober fic for 2024. The usual pairings (Snarriet, Harrymort) and a few other ones I wanted to try writing.

Harrymort:

(Ongoing) Precious Horcrux: A Voldemort!wins AU with a female!Harry, and the Harry/Voldemort pairing. Originally a oneshot, and then I wrote more, so there's non-consensual sex right there in the first chapter. Very dark. (Slow to update)

Blood red: a Muggle AU where Voldemort is a serial killer. (Also, he's old.) Harriet would like to be left alone. Voldemort thinks she's so very interesting.

Ourobouros: a oneshot where Harrie has gone back in time and is being watched very closely by Professor Riddle... Dark fic.

Harriet/Lucius:

Fated: a soulmate fic where both Harriet and Lucius hate the bond (until they don't). Enemies to Lovers vibes, with some post-war smut once Lucius is divorced.

Only the truth: A oneshot where Lucius has dreams about Harriet and is very open about that...

Snarrietmort:

In his embrace: a Voldemort wins AU, where he keeps Harrie as a pet and then offers her to Snape. Mostly Snape/Harrie, but there's also some Harrymort, and a few Snarrietmort threesome scenes.

Apple of his Eye: Voldemort adopts Harriet Potter. He plans to marry her to Snape, but Harriet (called Eve in this fic) has other desires...

Harriet/Snape/a third person:

Caught in the act: a very smutty threesome fic, Lupin/Snape/Harrie, with an emphasis on the Snape/Harrie. Happens during an alternate sixth year, with Lupin as the DADA teacher again.

The girl from elsewhere: A fic with the Harriet/Harry/Snape pairing. It starts as Harriet/Harry when a female version of Harry arrives in basically the version from canon and saves Snape. Then they both decide to seduce him...

Black & Gold: a post-war fic with the foursome pairing Harrie/Snape/Ron/Hermione. Some smut, some plot, some Snape being Snape and adding tension as he finds his place within the Golden Trio.

Three snakes and a lioness: Harriet with Snape, Lucius and Draco, independently and then all together. The Dark Mark starts hurting the Death Eaters after the war and the only way to help is to, you guessed it, have sex.

Harriet/Male OC:

The French Seduction: a fun fluffy fic where I pair Harriet with one of my OCs, a French prince named Alexandre de Valois. He features in several of my fics and I thought he'd make a fine partner for Harriet, so I wrote it! There's also some Dad Snape in there.

Fem!Neville/Snape:

A brave little Gryffindor: Neve (Fem!Neville) tries to steal the Sword of Gryffindor and ends up being punished by Snape. Contains a lot of dirtybadwrong smut and an ending with a surprise threesome pairing.

Gen (no pairing, no smut):

The Cat Who Must Not Be Named: Voldemort gets stuck as a cat. He decides to protect Harriet so he can kill her once he regains a human body. Hilarity ensues. A crack fic with cat Voldemort who eventually comes to care for Harriet. Strong Mentor Snape vibes as well.

Enlightened (The Flash): A genderswapped AU of Season 4 in which DeVoe manages to Enlighten the world and keeps a female Barry as his prisoner. First person POV, lots of mind control, plenty of time travel, some Barrie/Thawne thrown in, and a happy ending.

Night of Hell (Fighting Fantasy): A narrated playthrough of House of Hell with added smut. Second person POV, the reader fails a lot but succeeds in the end.

A Helping Hand (Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness): A Corrupted!Stephen fic with the America Chavez/Stephen Strange pairing. America is 18 and the sex is consensual, until the corruption from the Darkhold really gets out of hand.

Brought Down Low (Various fandoms): A series of oneshots in which heroines lose the final battle of their stories. The big bads enjoy their victory.

Broken Wings (Original Work): A young woman with a secret vigilante identity tries to take down the most powerful man of the city. It doesn't go well. (A oneshot for now, will be continued later.)

The feast (Skyrim): Isa ventures into a dark cave and encounters a vampire who immediately takes an interest in her. A dark fic with an open ending.

No contest (Pokémon): A sex pollen fic with Prof. Oak. Yes, from Pokémon.

I’m a huge fan of your work. I write casually, mostly for myself.

Can I ask - How did you develop the ability to write so well? Have you been formally educated in creative writing? I look up to people like you and your work, I worry I will never be able to create anything as beautiful.

Trying to teach myself is extremely difficult so would appreciate any tips you can throw my way 🥹

Hello anon! Thank you for your kind words!

No, I don’t have any sort of degree in writing. I do hold a Master’s in Fine Art (glass sculpture), which did involve a fair amount of writing (the dreaded artist statement, endless applications, etc), but nothing like writing fiction. 

My writing used to suck. I say this not as a way to try and sound humble or something equally obnoxious, but because it’s true. And I don’t just mean my writing when I was a tween, which was when I first started posting fanfiction for fun, I mean when I came back to it a decade later. My first fic was baaaaaad. So was the second. And the third. Did I think that at the time? No! But that’s as it should be. I was having fun writing ridiculous stories for an audience of perhaps 5 people, and it was great. 

I think fanfiction writing has turned into something where there is now an insane amount of pressure to only post something if it’s good. Please don’t fall into that trap. For one, what’s ‘good’ is completely subjective. Whatever you post is going to be the perfect read for someone. For another, writing flawed stories is a part of the process! Don’t overthink it and just write. Easier said than done, I know, but really. You should be writing fanfiction for the fun of the game, not because you feel the need to create something perfect or even complete for that matter. 

As for practical advice other than ‘write a lot’ and ‘read a lot’, I have two things I hope will actually be helpful. One is to - when possible and practical, of course - experience to some degree the things you want to write about most submersibly. Choose settings you’ve been to when you can. Let people you’ve come across in real life inspire your characters. Before you launch into describing something important, really look at the thing first. This is clearly not applicable to many things, but my point is to get as close to the real deal whenever you can, if you can, and it will make writing about whatever that Thing is much easier and better.

The other tidbit of advice I can offer actually comes from my old painting professor, so full credit to Gary for this one. He always said, and I’m paraphrasing here, ‘Make your marks like you’re the most talented, wondrous painter the world has ever seen. Then, when you’ve set your brush down and stepped away to look at your work, critique your marks like you’re the meanest, most judgmental critic in the art world.’ I think this applies to all art forms. Write like you’re the best writer in the world that everyone loves, edit like you’re the worst critic that everyone hates. Or, my very shorthand version: write on wine, edit on coffee.

I hope something in that rambling word vomit was helpful. Oh, one last bit that I’m sure you already know but is nonetheless worth saying over and over again: don’t compare your work to others. I KNOW we all do this despite knowing it will just make us feel like crying our way into a dumpster before closing the lid on it while inside and lighting the entire thing on fire, but whenever you catch yourself doing it, just remind yourself that it’s dumb. Again, art is subjective. You’ll always bring something different to the table, and that something different is going to be exactly what some readers have been searching for.
