Hi! I think.

I'm Treat. There's not much I can say to describe myself, really. I'm here for an attempt at a fresh start from how I used to be. I'll probably be infrequent, just doing art posts on occasion and answering asks from friends or anons from time to time.

To anyone who recognises the name combined with the url and image, yes, I'm autistic. Yes I adapted her into my identity. This happens a lot. Can't guarantee it won't happen again.

I did use to have another blog. A lot of sideblogs, too. I'm just completely starting fresh though, I wanna move on from how I was on those blogs. So I hope I can do right by whoever finds me.

I'll put some other info under the cut, just to have a feel for the place.

Just finished the Live Action remake of Moana. Wasn't terrible actually.

I basically summarized it to my family as: "Maui fucked with Te Fiti's heart and was surprised when she punched him about it."

Seems fitting.

it is about a dad who is a school teacher and is trying to raise his daughter after his wife dies. one of the main things is he usually just buys her already made meals, but one of his students show’s him her mom’s restaurant and encourages him to learn how to cook

Spontaneous Treat lore:

Aside from Pierrot, Treat has one other stalker. It's someone she turned down in high school, and they've been after her for roughly seven years. Which... means Dallas has absolutely no idea she's been dealing with this.

She managed to get a restraining order and even get the stalker sent to jail just a few months before the events of TFC begin.

She actually handled this scarily well, despite her internal fear. Part of that came from her damaged ability to emote, but she also simply developed a good poker face after her brother was taken away. If she doesn't show her fear, she'll be okay- that's her mentality. But even still, she slips sometimes. It's hard not to when the woman who rushed you at work earlier is used as a pincushion in front of you.

But... because of her poker face, her stalker does whatever they can to make her express emotion. They particularily want to see her cry in terrified despair.

I haven't been this invested in my own OCs completely seperate from whatever plot I made them for in a long time. And yet, the Grimsleys and Cordelia will not release me....

I've got this scenario in my head of a post-mutation Dallas and Cordelia finding the Freak Circus during its time in Treat's city. The two live in the shadows and do what they can to survive.

Unlike the Circus, they have no true way to hide their monstrous appearances. Covering her lower two eyes genuinely hinders Cordelia so she can't put on a mask to appear human, and God knows Dallas can't even try to blend in given he's got a 10-foot-long tail and a pair of extra arms welded together above his head.

I can imagine them keeping an eye on Treat's cafe for a while. Dallas wants to approach his little sister, but is too nervous about how she would react to him now. Seeing whatever the Circus does to her. Cordelia approaches them one day, with an attempt to be friendly. They're all nonhuman, so.. maybe it'd go well?

If it doesn't, she calls for Dallas to come in. He does. At full height. And he only asks one question in a low, careful tone.

"So you all enjoy fucking around and finding out with women who have done no harm to you?"

I have so many thoughts about the Amazing Digital Circus finale and about Jax specifically.

I realised this frame finally pictures how damaged Treat's right eye is and how that affects her ability to emote.

As I said, her right eye does not dilate or shrink with her left, nor can she cry out of it.

I was struck with an urge to make a new version of a thing from ages ago. Have a pair of frames: The Grimsleys at GL Labs for the first time!

Grimsley Sibling Trivia: Dallas has resting bitch face, yes. But he's perfectly capable of emoting as normal! In fact, he's been told many times that he's the more expressive one between him and Treat when it comes down to more intense situations.

I'm writing a crossover fanfic between Lonely Wolf Treat and The Freak Circus! This is a planned scene in roughly chapter 3, based around my own playthrough.

You can find the fic here if you're a registered user, though there's only one chapter right now. I'm working on chapter 2 as of the moment.

And now I figure out how to tag this post properly. Because I never thought I'd draw a scenario like this.
