For disability pride I’d like to come out and say that I wear glasses. I need them to see. I can take them off but it would be safer for me to keep them on.
Nobody gives me shit about my glasses. Nobody accuses me of faking needing glasses when I take them off.
So it shouldn’t be so fucking hard to treat people who use mobility aids with the same amount of respect!!

kinda tired of non binary being tied to skinny androgyny that's mostly white. I say that's as a non binary transmasc/boy thing who's fat and black.
being non binary can look like anything and anyone but especially individuals who have different body types outside of thin. they can have body/facial hair too. show up for all enbies.

I work with kids and sometimes we have to do safety lessons with them about like, not telling strangers on the internet your home address or something. And sometimes the kids wont understand why, so you have to impart upon them that, well, some adults want to hurt children. And thats kind of difficult to do, because you have to beat around the bush, both because you dont want to scare them (while still making them understand how serious it is) and because you might lose your job if you explain it too straight forward.
Luckily, for some reason, the villain of one of the most popular franchises with children for the last 10 years happens to be a serial child murderer. So when a kid asks why they shouldnt trust strangers, instead of hand wringing and humhawing my answer out, I can just say "we dont always know when a strange adult has good intentions with children, or when they are William Afton."

rocky and adrian manage to get a working fake moon in grace’s biodome. grace loves it, but now his sleeping schedule is all thrown cause he likes to sit on the sand and watch it as it sparkles on the water.
the simulated coldness of the night is mitigated by rocky and adrian cuddling up beside him as grace rests his head against that one curve in adrian’s carapace he loves, falling asleep late into his established sleeping hours. rocky already has the blanket ready to carefully tuck him into and cuddle up next to him as grace sleeps.
these nights on erid are the best he’s ever slept in his life.
