I made fun of plave last week I said vocaloid ass group but I keep seeing plave on tiktok and watch their streams then yejun's boyfailure charms have bewitched me he's actually very charming and funny in a pitiful kinda way 😓 the pink haired little twink is surprisingly violent but the whole group have a good natural synergy they're just dudes chilling like I can just tell nobody is pressuring them to do shit

Yeah this makes a lot of sense. Shes saying it’s hard to work a very flexible, high-paying job, while the audience is providing income and the views are contributing to more high-paying opportunities, because she doesn’t like it as much as she used to lol. I don’t think that’s something most people would feel very empathetic towards, considering that most people get paid less and dislike their jobs more than she does. I also don’t know if she ever necessarily loved streaming. I could be wrong but, i feel like she needed it more than she loved it. Like she made friends who streamed and watched streamers and started streaming bc she was lonely and wanted to game with friends, and she also started making money. I feel like now that she doesn’t need to stream, to feel socialized or for income, bc she can hang out with friends irl or do a brand deal, the pull to stream isn’t really there. Bc it’s not like she ever really enjoyed the attention anyways (which is fair enough). That’s not to say she didn’t (or doesn’t) like it at all, i’m sure she has fun when she’s in the mood and feels like she wants to talk. But i think every time she feels pressure to stream (bc it is her job and jobs come with pressure), she’s discouraged bc she thinks she has to love it in order to do it, which is just not possible 100% of the time (or realistic lol).

yeah, i think this will always be the biggest issue. even going back to luna's blog, this is the main thing people used to crit her on because she lacks awareness about the real world. she has one of the easiest jobs in the world, yet is so lazy about it

i can agree with this, though i didn't watch her way back when she blew up so idk how she was then. but at least now she doesn't seem to love it. like she much rather just prefers gaming off stream with her friends or just watching them play games (i.e. parking herself in foolish's viewerlist which ik many think is cute but that is so pathetic to me lmao)
winnerbaby/winnerkiller was the first crit blog that discussed toosh back in 2022. it was more of a dt blog than a toosh one but it was the founding blog for those kinds of discussions. luna and b came around a little bit later and were the main 2 toosh blogs for a while and then luna become inactive and b… well… and then you and crumb kind of appeared and now even more blogs pop up every other week a swear. its kinda crazy to think about how ive been here for all of it
