Angel's Story

I don't want to sound like a hater or an anti, cause I'm not one. I love Hazbin and the Hellaverse in general, especially when it comes to characters and their respective journeys. I've been thinking about it since the season 2 finale when Angel left the hotel because of his guilt.

Do I sound paranoid for being concerned that there won't be enough time for some stories to get to where he will be able to properly deal with ALL his trauma and to be able to begin healing?

Before anyone says "There's only been 2 seasons" Season 3 will be a very low point where Angel is back in a place where he is seen as simply property. There's no chance of him getting in a better place while he's at the V Tower. So, I'm gonna assume there will be more scenes of him suffering one way or another. And so far, there really hasn't been a shortage of that throughout the show.

It doesn't help that Amazon doesn't seem to want to give the production team many episodes per season where I wouldn't even have these worries if it were otherwise. And from what I've heard, the most we might get is 5 seasons.

Angel's suffered so much. And he'll suffer more in season 3. But in a storytelling aspect, I just really want it to pay off where it gets to a point where he'll be happy, loved, and feel peace.. and part of me fears that won't happen...

Update: Okay, so now it's been confirmed we're getting 5 seasons total before the end of the show...

This just reinforced what I said before. At this point... I'm not feeling hopeful that everything will be given time to breathe especially with Angel's story.

With where we'll start in season 3, Angel would have to be free AND fight his addiction AND almost a century of trauma in less than 3 seasons?

I'm sorry, but... I just am not really optimistic anymore..
