People can change, yes. People are always changing, always growing even little by little, just a little every day makes a huge difference with time!

But the change is not always good, or sometimes the change simply doesn't happen. People can change, yes. They deserve a chance to prove themselves. But if they use that chance to act the same way they've always done then they never really tried. There's no change.

Say "I've change, things are different now" means nothing when the change lasts only for as long as its convenient to you. That's not change. That's a lie. To me and to yourself.
