El Guichino - Bombay
Totally freaky video. But I've heard this song so many times and now that I finally know its name and artist I thought I'd share it. :)

Morgan and Destiny's Eleventeenth Date - The Zeppelin Zoo
Seriously cool. Made on hitRECord.org, a collaboration of it's users. It's a really awesome site where, as a user, you're allowed to contribute or start up a production of anything at all - video, audio, image, text - whatever.
Brilliant concept. Have a look. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is very convincing. ;)
Conversation with John Lennon - War is a Business.
I love what he says. I love how it's illustrated.
Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi - Brand new album: Rome.
Released in the UK yesterday and in the making since 2005! :O
I mostly like the 4th track - Season's Trees with Norah Jones. Have a listen?
Naice song.
Hmmm...
Delicate features and a haricut.

Who wants to see this? I wants to see this.
I'm still not sure how I feel about the Beatles (blaspheme! yeah).
But this looks quite interesting, no?
Devendra Banhart in the Rainbow House.
Song - Brindo by Devendra Banhart. I really like.
So dreamyyy...
Marching the Hate Machines (Into the Sun) - Thievery Corportion feat. The Flaming Lips.
Super cool bands. They're keeping me company during my exam prep - well, mostly the Cosmic Gate album. Quite apt considering I'm reading about war, foreign policy and whatnot.
Okes, done procrastinating... Back to study.
Ending 34 years of Left Front Rule.
More news, sorry!
On the home-front it is important that I know what is happening in the motherland and this is an exciting big thing. Another 'Power to the People' news article - years and years of rigged elections overcome by the people and hopes of rebuilding West Bengal's pride.
Let's see how it goes!
Studying for IR always leads me to a news website.
We are not half human beings, we are human beings. -Khuloud al Fahad
Yes! Events in the Middle East strengthens my feeling that studying International Relations really is relevant and worthwhile in the bigger picture. Even if, for now, the 'Rational Actor Model' isn't quite as fascinating, or the 'unexplained variance' of Political Culture is so vague that it's annoying.
Stop. Rewind. And let's go again.
'Nuff said... Just listen.
Today's supplement to my failing sinuses and immune system has ended up being 'Tesco's Finest Belgian Triple Chocolate Cookies'. My only justification for this being my dinner is that I have exams and that I'm sick - sosugar keeps me going. But as I closed facebook and turned to my notes on Foreign Policy Analysis, the link to my tumblr compelled me to post this awesome article I found on Mumbai Boss! Which has got me really pumped for the summer holidays! While running around with visiting friends and working (plus trying desperately to get into shape after the shameful cookies) I'm determined to explore this list as much as possible. It's because not all good food experiences are found in the latest (or oldest) 5-star restaurant, and some of the most timeless food experiences can be found on the streets - be it Bombay, Delhi or Shanghai. Plus, this way when I say 'I'm from Bombay' (or Mumbai - whatever you'd prefer) I'm pretty legit if I know where to eat at least! ;)
Now, this list is probably based on more popularity than on actual taste - catering to the touristy kind - but the idea of returning to 'bees rupaye ka chaat' (snacks for twenty rupees = currently £0.27) made by the loving hands of the sweaty Bihari man down the road seems a lot more enticing than the sterile tesco-type food I've been living on. And to think there's only 13 days left till I touch down on Indian soil! Excite!
More music!
A friend just showed me this. Really new band - The Weeknd.
I've heard nice hip-hop here and there but this is just SO smooth. So mellow. So sexy. Enjoy.
Old school mellow. :)
This is one of my favourite Murakami short stories. I read it when I was about thirteen years old - naturally it made my mind swim with possibilites about love, life and destiny. I saw this version today and it was a really nice reminder of the time.
... And was a good distraction from the countless strange viruses and malware currently invading my computer. I imagine them to be like those deadly machine creatures in The Matrix movies, tearing up everything in their paths. Crazy.
