No cause the way this was one of the reasons why I needed to write mpreg because he’s simply so big compared to a child! Like if kid’s arm is already a full 180 up and still it’s not long enough. Plus all his kids end up shorter than him 💀 that’s how I’m basically getting away with having the kids always gets carried around even thought they’re reaching 4 years old since he’s simply big enough that the sizing is still sensible to have them carried

May I be a nosy mary and ask what kickstarted the golf arc. I know how tennis arc started fjsbdbsks but golf? It's so fun watching fellow moots go exploring new frontiers and I get to absorb new things by osmosis 🤣

Omg origin story moment! at first it started when Carlos Alcaraz did a video with Bryson DeChambeau and I thought it was really fun but then I made the very sad discovery that Bryson is a Trump supporter so I was kind irked by that and I didn’t go any further. But then the masters came around and I was like ok interesting and I checked the golf RPF tag on ao3 and there’s basically nothing there except one (exaggeration but also not) person! (we’ll come back to this later) and I didn’t even know who the people in the pairing were, so it was a no go. 

Later on, I’m on TikTok scrolling and I also see some golf edits specifically by golf_brat and theyre soooo good (which is actually also how I got it to tennis more) but at the time I didn’t really know the people in golf.  Then I realized there was an entire Netflix show called Full Swing about golf so I watched this entire show within a few days. I even live blogged it so you can see my rapid descent into golf soup.

After watching that I came back to the ao3 tag and that’s when I understood vision and because there’s so little there and how welcoming the fandom is (I say this but the fandom for ao3 golf rpf is like honestly 5 people) I just wanted to write and contribute so bad. So now out of 8 fics in the Rory/Bryson pairing, I have contributed 2, another writer has contributed 1, and the OG who inspired me has 5 (its kinda like the Hamilton song). It’s a small fandom but honestly it’s been a really sweet time as of late.
