I haven’t been here in 3 years!! I have a love/hate relationship with tumblr.

A bit of an update:

1. My boy, Bazzle, died this year. 🥺 05.07.2012-02.16.2023

2. I’m no longer at the urgent care, I’m now at a primary care facility and absolutely LOVE it.

3. I’ve gone back to school to further my medical career-LVN II here I come!

4. I got a new baby on June 10th. The rescue says she’s 3 but I don’t believe it. She’s so tiny!

5. Eras Tour 07.28.23. Best. Night. Ever!!! I cried 3 times.

6. I got my first Taylor inspired tattoo.

All the employees at work today received the dreaded letter. The one that we were hoping would never be handed to us.

You know, being in the medical field doesn’t mean that your job is safe.

As a medical assistant in an urgent care/walk in clinic, I can honestly say that this COVID pandemic is getting scarier by the day. We typically see anywhere from 50-70 patients in a day, today we saw 18.

Hours are getting cut. Layoffs are being talked about, they’re even talking about closing down one of our clinics. We simply aren’t seeing enough patients to keep the doors open.

Working in health care isn’t a guarantee that your bills will be paid. I don’t know what is going to happen, all I know is I have bills, less hours, and I’m going to have to scrape by.

Car note=$600

Rent=$650

Credit cards =$100 (in total)

Car insurance=$160

Groceries=~$150-$200

I don’t ask for help. I hate asking for help. I always feel obligated to repay the ones who offer help.

But, what do I do?
