so! today, loona posted the mv for ptt. as we were blessed with a bop, i think the lore part was heavy and confusing. in my last post, i said that heejin is probably god in loonaverse. i don’t think it’s wrong, since we see her controlling the planets here, or the universe:

for me, the big question in the mv is oec. we know that ptt represents the end of a chapter on loonaverse. while everybody was thinking kim lip had lost her odd eye, we were terribly wrong. and that’s my thoughts on that:

i think, actually, that in that scene here:

kim lip was doing some ritual to make her odd eye more powerful. for the distress in her face, i thought maybe it didn’t work exactly how she planned. it mande sense to me because of that scene in star:

that also appears very fast in ptt:

to conclude what i’m thinking, we have this scene from a alternative version of why not that has some different scenes in the mv:

i think lip got somehow stuck in her own power, and jinsoul tries and tries to save her, but she can’t. they’re always seems to be trying to communicate with each other, as we see in their ‘love letter’ duet. what also caught my attention about their relationship was the lyrics from ‘a different night’:

this song is obviously about them. in the end of the mv, we see jinsoul on the same place lip was, and gives a feeling of grief, like she lost something. that’s because maybe lip’s power flowed her to the beginning of the loop: the lip we see with the eclipse outfit is her past self.

we also see both jinsoul and choerry with circles around them, but not lip. also, heejin said that in one of a hundred years, the earth orbits around the moon, and that’s when they’re more powerful. as loona girls discovers themselves as powerful goddesses with different powers, maybe they reunite when the earth finally orbits around the moon. it makes sense with rendezvous 18.6y lyrics too i think. but then, it’s different this time: lip is not there. she’s stuck in another timeline, it’s a different night. and now that she messed the time, maybe that’s where the next chapter of loonaverse will begin: they will be stuck in another loop because of lip?

also, i was wrong too. jinsoul is, actually, a hero in loonaverse. that explains why she’s trying to save lip. as we see her alone in the end, this was on the mv description:

so! i came back here after the kim lip teaser today bc.. we’re all confused😭 thats a fact. but what got me the most on the teaser was that we are back to eclipse, and that (and idk how) got me thinking about heejin’s role in loonaverse.

i mean, there’s so many things in loonaverse without answers. but heejin’s role make me really curious.

one of the most popular theories is that heejin’s the creator of loonaverse, or that she’s god. somehow, that’s making even more sense with the & era. that’s because we may be entering the loona greek goddesses concept, and in why not mv, heejin appears with this:

so, we’re assuming that if she’s really the creator of the loonaverse, she’s representing zeus, right? the next thing about heejin is her number. we’ve seen that in that & teaser, the door behind the girls makes a ‘1’:

and, where we’ve seen the number 1 in loona? in their songs, ofc! lets see number 1 lyrics:

you can see when they say ‘but i’ve colored this world’, and when we think about heejin and her vivid song, we know: number 1 it’s obviously about her in some way

also, those 3 verses reminded you of something? to me, yes! it reminds me of the teaser #1 where she’s flying alone in the sky (in her butterfly clothes, btw):

there’s also one more song in loona’s discography that has the number one. its d-1, by yves. lets see the lyrics:

in those lyrics, yves is talking with someone. i don’t think it’s heejin, but the ‘while the flow of time changes’ got me, because the time in the loonaverse is our biggest question. it reminds me of jinsoul’s ‘silent flow’ line in sweet crazy love, and also it reminds me of this teaser where heejin’s final scene in hi high is reversed. the thing about hi high is that loona’s main goal is being all together. and when that finally happens, it reverses. they’re not together anymore, and the journey begins again. that goes directly to kim lips teaser that came out today.

kim lip reversed the time? or she was just a victim of it? or it was jinsoul? also, in the ‘silent flow’ line that i talked about, what if the time changes without them knowing and they’re fighting this? so, the flow of time changes silently? if you know something, tell me!

I just noticed, these scenes correspond to every girl’s B-side track: Girl’s Talk, See Saw, and Rosy.

someone has probably pointed all of this out, but the more i look at it, the more i love the yyxy logo

it’s obvious at this point that Go Won is the x, the differences in her latest promo picture and caption compared to the others made that clear:

but it was already likely, based on this image:

where the third triangle is upside down, Go Won is the third member of yyxy, and it didn’t make sense for her triangle to be different to the others unless she was the x. 

Yves and Chuu are the first two ys, as the first two members of the group, they’re at the top, on the same level, similar to how they appeared together in the One&Only music video, already united, connected to each other, and working together to convince Go Won to join them.

we see them sitting at the table and the three of them make a formation resembling the top circle part of the yyxy logo, with Go Won being the x:

then, in the love4eva teaser, Yves and Chuu are shown several times to be closer to each other than they are to Go Won, however, she is still in their circle, while Olivia Hye is not. they make the logo shape twice, once here:

and then again when Chuu runs ahead with Yves. with Olivia Hye behind them, this time they make the full logo’s shape:

i think it goes without saying that Olivia Hye is the final y, disconnected from the group, not part of the circle, the final member.

this does bring some interesting speculation on the way she is connected. before the teaser came out, I couldn’t work out why she was connected to Go Won and no one else, but then in the teaser we got this scene:

Go Won, the x, is the only part of the circle to look back at Olivia Hye, the final y, 

which suggests there may be some connection between them, or it suggests Go Won at least cares about Olivia Hye more than Yves and Chuu (who don’t acknowledge her) seem to.  considering it’s implied Yves and Olivia Hye had a falling out of some kind, and Chuu would naturally side with Yves on anything, that makes sense. Go Won is further removed from the situation, making her more likely to be the one to reach out or try to mend things.

it’s also interesting to note that the x is the only letter connected to all the others. could it have something to do with this scene from the One&Only music video?

is Go Won some sort of unifying force or leader within the group? a benevolent queen looking out for her subjects? 

i don’t know but i love the yyxy logo and the love4eva teaser has me buzzing

LOONA: The Forbidden Fruit

Hi guys, its been awhile! I’m back with another LOONA lore breakdown. Check out my YeoJin and Go Won MV Breakdowns. Remember this is all speculation and theory!

The latter members of LOONA are tied to a particular fruit. Each fruit represents a version of the “Forbidden Fruit” from the biblical Garden of Eden. The Forbidden Fruit is the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Desiring this knowledge, Eve eats the fruit and later tempts Adam to do the same. When each member eats their fruit, they obtain knowledge as well.

Choerry’s Cherry: the cherry symbolizes innocence and chastity. But once plucked and eaten, the innocence is lost. Choerry is originally in the innocent, pure world of LOONA 1/3, but after eating the cherry, she falls into the seductive, dark world of OEC. The knowledge the cherry gives her is transportation/portals. She learns of the portals between the worlds of LOONAVERSE and everytime she eats the cherry, she can travel through portals. 

Yves’ Apple: the apple represents love and beauty, but also temptation and discord. Out of all of the members, Yves willingly falls into the temptation of her Forbidden Fruit. The knowledge she receives from eating an apple is a connection/communication to each member. The apples allow her to contact members across worlds (ViVi, Choerry), but does not work all the time if the members are too far. 

Chuu’s Strawberry: strawberries symbolize love, happiness, and acceptance. When dreaming about eating strawberries, it means love is coming into your life. This predestined love is the love she gets from her members and the knowledge she receives is a happier version of herself. Chuu also eats a green apple, but since the apple isn’t her destined fruit, it only gives a glimpse of her ‘true self’ (happy and in love).

Go Won’s Pineapple: while the other members were tempted by their fruit, Go Won actively avoids hers. Once she eats the pineapple, she gains the knowledge of her true self and accepts herself and role in LOONA. The pineapple represents hospitality; Go Won was hostile and avoided her members, but after eating her fruit, she welcomes them.

so. first off i’ll link to a video with evidence that SCL, Egoist, and SITR are connected. the video also shows how Olivia Hye is the sun and was threatened by Jinsoul (the rain), so she imprisoned her. in Egoist and SITR, Jinsoul is in a prison made of blue light. 

but, by the end of SITR, she breaks all the bars and escapes:

this explains why there was no actual rain until the very end, Jinsoul couldn’t create rain while imprisoned, her power was suppressed.  

this brings us to Hi High, where we have this ominous scene of OEC surrounding Olivia Hye. 

notice that Choerry, Kim Lip, and Jinsoul are all smiling, but Olivia Hye isn’t:

Hi High is set after SITR and Egoist, in that time Jinsoul got backup from the rest of OEC and plotted revenge. what exactly was that revenge? to attempt to send Olivia Hye to her death. 

It’s been theorised the Jinsoul’s superpower is to teleport, while Choerry’s is to jump between planes, and Kim Lip’s is to time travel. I think they combined their power to teleport Olivia Hye to a different plane (the eden ‘utopia’ world), at a different time (maybe between Egoist and love4eva, but possibly even before love4eva?), 

when and wherever they sent her, they intentionally sent her into a trap. Yves was waiting, and lured Olivia Hye to jump:

and yes, she was fine, 

because Olivia Hye is powerful she imprisoned Jinsoul, one of the most powerful beings in the LOONAVERSE, of course she was fine after a little drop. but the sinister intentions were there. especially from OEC, and Yves was possibly conspiring with them, it wouldn’t be the first time she’s done Olivia dirty. 

but this is just a theory, watch Hi High it’s good
