The Leader Well, sort of. Lace never meant to start a clan and wasn't aware that he had until Kesaura pointed out that he was currently living with 30 "friends" that didn't seem to have any plans in leaving. They were all dragons that Lace had either helped, or had requested help from. Lace didn't have any problem with them sticking around. Though he didn't talk to or see everyone as frequently as he did Kesaura, Lionel, and Mick, he enjoyed their company and general background presence. So he shrugged it off. Unfortunately, they were all essentially eating Lace out of house and home, and the more dragons settled in, the more Lace had to tap into his funds to expand his ownership of Arcanic lands. It wasn't until it was too late on one eventful day when the not-yet-clan was a bit rowdier than usual that Lace realized that some changes had to be made. The lair was well overdue for another upgrade, but Lace was sitting on his last gold piece and just could not accommodate for the mass of dragons any longer. An discussion started about who should leave and it didn't take long before an actual fight broke out. Lace immediately began to evacuate the hatchlings and other nonfighters with Mick's help while he had Kesaura and Lionel (forcibly) attempt to stop the fighting. He successfully got everyone to safety, but before he could attempt calm everyone down, loud cracking split through the air and into the rumbling ground. He turned to see the entirety of his home beginning to collapse. All turned to chaos as suddenly the fighters were now attempting to escape and some of the escapees were attempting to reenter the lair in hopes to salvage whatever possessions they apparently deemed more valuable than their lives. Lace also reentered. Being immediately rejoined with Kesaura and Lionel, he cast rejuvenate and aid wherever necessary while Kesaura and Lionel retrieved the injured. By the end of it all, everyone was safe, but Lace's home was in ruins. For quite some time he merely sat facing the mountain of rubbish with his back turned to his "friends." Most felt that they were in the right to approach him. Soon, Kesaura, Lionel, Mick, and Zila finally came up from behind him, and he seemed as though he was sleeping. Sure enough however, he opened his eyes as soon as they were in front of him. Before they could say anything, he stood and turned to face a crowd of solemn, misfit, and now homeless dragons - and apologized. He apologized for neglecting to address the multitude of issues that led to the day, for refusing to take responsibility for their well-being, for underestimating the importance of leadership and order, and for failing them entirely , if not as a leader, then as a friend. No one actually blamed Lace for any of this, and there many looks of guilt and confusion exchanged between them. After a brief pause Lace continued by declaring that he didn't have a new home to offer them, and that he needed their help again, but this time not as one time friends but as fellow loyal clanmembers. He made it clear that it would be hardwork from there on out and anyone who wanted to leave was free to do so. ((this whole thing was TERRIBLE but i am not rewriting it so w/e you can just read the bullets))
All of the dragons present on the day the clan was officially founded are still clanmembers today.
The new clan lair was obtained with the courtesy of Kaito, who had a generous amount of territory back in his homeland.
That is also how the clan went from being Arcanic to Waterdwellers
Lace seemed serious enough about responsibility and order and did indeed make a list of rules for the clan to follow
However he still hadn't come up with a clan name
Nearly everything was lost in the collapse but the scrolls and books from the clan library, which were painstakingly scavenged for by Attar.
Lace doesn't do so great with keeping an eye on any troublemaking clanmembers, but Kesaura, Lionel, and especially Zila have struck enough fear amongst the clan that not many break the rules anyway.
Relationships: Zila: Wife Mick: Son Kesaura: [helped] Friend, Mick's mother Lionel: [helper] Friend Irfan: First friend from hatchling days ((Literally everyone in the clan has a relationship to Lace as that is why they're in the clan but im not listing them all here, why they're here should be in their descriptions))
