hi there, i woke up to get work done and proceeded to be focused on not the task at hand haha i got all the things to be productive yet not much progress

hi, happy june!

i’m not very good at updating this blog haha, i got pretty busy with work and online classes. update though i got in the nursing program! i’m more focused on school and still trying to figure out everything with it being online, but i’m excited for something new!

online school isn’t going too bad, i've only had one all-nighter so far lol. i’m really enjoying my pathophysiology class though! and my goal for this week is to get most of my assignments and quizzes done by wednesday, fingers crossed

spent the day writing my reports. i was studying in my dorm but then my friend invited me to her place so we spent hours together baking, studying, talking and just chilling. it was very nice<3. she gave me my new year’s gift and i gave her hers!!

p.s. i’m really loving this doodling on the pics thing, can you tell?

may flop but i’m curious what people listen to when they need to concentrate (study, read, write, do homework, artwork, code, etc.)? i’ve been listening to studio ghibli scores on repeat

listening to the same music i used to listen when i was 14-15 is something else i'm still her i'm nothing like her anymore she knew everything she knew nothing she was so right she was so wrong

monday, january 16

hi, i've started school again :) i've been working as a cna, and i enjoy patient care. but i also wanted to use my biology degree. so i'm working towards going for an accelerated nursing program

i'm taking pre-requisites that my bio degree didn’t cover (developmental psych, nutrition, and pathophysiology), and all of the classes are online. it’s been a transition to get back into school while also working. but it’s a new year and i'm trying to be optimistic haha

well i guess it’s over. i graduated and i feel lost lol

thinking about how i won’t be going back on campus and seeing my friends and even going to class is crazy to me. i’m going to miss it

the last semester went by so fast and i’m sorry i never posted for those who were still interested

who knows,,, maybe it’s the beginning of a quarter-life coming of age movie that you never hear about lol

Some Bad(?) Experiences Of Student Life

Having a bad teacher in the sense that they don’t know their subject, and you have to teach yourself or take extra classes to make up for that

Teachers who insult you for asking questions in class

Realizing you forgot to bring your pencil case to class and now have to rely on others

That homework you done that was left on the study table

Teacher asking you to tell the lesson, when it is the very (first) day you didn’t prepare it

Sleeping in afternoon after school and when you wake up, time feels like ugly pale green slime jelly and everything is irksome and you are groggy

Nodding your head in affirmation while you comprehend not a single letter of what the teacher is saying because you know asking questions would be of no use

Teachers who never respond to your messages or emails, but often say that you can consult them online

Having your camera on during that zoom lecture in which it was supposed to be off when you happened to look like a distant relative of the Loch Ness monster

Exams, cramming and team no sleep

No exams, new homework every day and the longing for exams

Poor grades on a test you worked really hard for

When teacher makes you sit a mile away from your best friend and close to someone you positively loathe
