i don’t know if you were asked this before but do you have any playlists in particular you listen to when writing? or have made any of dhurandhar ships you have stocked away? would love to listen!

I usually do playlists for my works that I tune into either while I'm thinking about them, using as inspo lyrically or just as background while writing. You do have to be ok with music from many different parts of the world, though, as I'm very eclectic with my taste.

I also use Youtube, sorry for any Spotify users.

Why did I make this? I’m still not entirely sure.

Perhaps it can be treated as a brief ASMR moment. Perhaps it’s simply an oddly satisfying piece of character work. Either way, I keep coming back to it.

There’s something fascinating about this scene. For a split second, he doesn’t sound human at all. It’s less of a shout and more of a warning, raw, instinctive, almost like the growl of a cornered lion.

I should probably be concerned by how often I’ve replayed it.

Instead, I remain equally impressed, intimidated, and slightly unsettled.
