30 Day Blog Challenge Day: 24
Day 24: Describe your family dynamic of your childhood vs. your family dynamic now.
Childhood: When I was younger my mum was in charge. Being the only income earner in the household, she was in charge of what got done and when also what things were priorities to buy at the stores. Usually, that entailed cloth, food and essentials; rather than games, toys and brand named snacks, to the vast annoyance her young children (my sister and I). Don’t get me wrong though, she wasn’t an unfair tyrant. More of a captain of a pirate ship. She spoke to my sister and me as adults and was never ignorant to our intelligence. Most times she would allow us to voice our opinions, in which I would seek my sister’s council and approval while she would seek my supportive interest in whatever she was trying to get our mom to agree to. They discussion usually took place after my mom got home from work in the evenings. Once a fast thing, they soon turned into Jewish-Muslim marriage arrangements. When my sister turned about 13, her temper and anger when roused grew greatly. So screaming matches would soon break out. My mother was a strong believer in not “spanking” a child on every provocation, unlike the other women in our family, so my sister would often push her, thinking her soft. But eventually, the hammer came down.
~
Interlogue: My grandmother was first in command when my mom was away, though only in things she could see. My sister and I would often do things that we couldn’t get away with when our mom wasn’t home. Although she couldn’t see or hear as well, she was quicker to anger and felt that the belt solved more issue with kids than hard words. When my mother was home she usually took her side in most matters, except when my mother’s rare and short fits of anger were directed at her. In 2001 there was an accident that involved the death of my aunt and injury of my granny (grandmother). For almost 3 years, my grandmother was not included in our home life, because she was at the hospital. When she came back in 2004, she was less sturdy and forceful than she used to be. My sister and I got away with a lot more after that. Certain roles of power were given to my sister and I depending on the task. Though my grandmother started talking more trash, she lacked the strength to take control like she used to in anywhere but the kitchen. We 2 kids were already used to being relied upon more, to my sister, her presence back into the household was unneeded. This created more tension. With 3 strong willed women in the house, I like to believe this is what gave me the high opinion of women.
~
So pretty much before I was 15ish, I was last in everything, except when it came to tech, where my opinion of things was really high.
Now: I sort of gained the title of “man of the house” now, whereas before it was only a technicality. My year of living alone has really given me the skills and care to actually do more chores. My mother relies on me more now in her older age. I’ve assumed the role of eldest sibling, seeing as my sister can’t be trusted with much. The only my Granny is in charge of now is baking and taking care of my niece. She’s not enjoying it, retirement I mean. My niece is in charge of tormenting my poor cat, crying and trying to act cute… Other than that, nothing has really changed. My mom is still the biggest breadwinner, even with all the decline in clients work. We try and help, with the minor amount of money that students make, but it’s still tight most months. So yes, nothing's changed, we’re just old enough to see things differently. Also, my niece has convinced me that all children, below the age of 6, are tiny Hitlers.
Thanks for reading my content. Also, I apologize for the late posts. The last few days have gotten really busy. Forgive me, and please reblog.

30 Day Challenge Day 23:
Day 23: List your top 5 hobbies and why you love them.
Note: This is a dumb question I’m sorry. This might seem like a cop-out, but my hobbies are pretty much the same as my passions. So until that changes, I’m going to just link my past post (#8) where I describe it in more detail.
That’s Day 8: http://lordcommanderblackhandofto.tumblr.com/post/147220948758/30-day-blog-challenge-day-8

30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 22
Day 22: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 15 years?
Note: I don’t remember a time that I wasn’t thinking about my future. When I was 10, I really thought that by the time I was 22 I would behave graduated university and have become an NBA player by now. So, this whole thinking ahead thing really doesn’t appeal to me. That being said:
5 Years. I would like to be finished whatever programs that I’ve taken/am taking. I'm honestly not sure what I plan to do education wise however, I feel that if I don't want to be too far behind in "life" Any more than 4 years would be just annoying to me. I hope that I've at least met a woman of deep value that I want to stay with for a long time. I would hope that I'm still working security because, I doubt I'd be good enough of a writer by then for my books to be published by some big company. I hope I'm still friends with my closest friends at that point.
10 Years. I'm honestly of the mind to be married or with someone for 3+ years by then. Hopefully, I'm a father when I'm 32 because I don't want to be to be one of those old balding parents when my parents go off to university. I hope to have at least 1 book ready to be published in 10 years. I would like to own my own home or on the way at least.
15 Years. Honestly, my mom is 65. This is the point when people are getting ready to retire. I would really like if I could make enough money to retire her in 15 years. With a combination of the 5-year plan and 10-year plan, I think I’d be happy with it. I’d also give that all up, if I could retire her comfortably now. PLEASE SHARE AND REBLOG, IF YOU ENJOY MY CONTENT.

30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 21
Day 21: If you could have 1 superpower, what would it be and what would you do with it?
This has been one of those things that I've never been too indecisive about. I would like to have super speed. Supersonic speed to be precise. First: I would never need to be late for things, and I could take my time with other things because it wouldn't take me long to get a place when I actually tried. Bur why not pick flying or teleportation? Second: because I would love to feel the exhilaration of running by things super fast and testing myself to move faster. I could never do that just flying above everything. If I had teleportation, what if my cloth didn't come with me when I did it. That would be a very inconvenient ability.
I would probably start my own Delivery service to places that shipping wouldn't go. Maybe secret missions to deliver letters to certain people in the world. I don't think I'd have it in me to rob people. It would dawn on me that I could, but I'm honestly raised too well against that. Maybe if I could figure out how to control that speed to something more "Humen" I might consider trying to break the world record for the 100-meter dash
Thanks for your time.

30 Day Challenge Day 20
Day 20: Describe 3 memories from your childhood.
1. It was tracking field day at school, in grade 5. All my life I always hated apples, but I remembered that I ran really well after I ate an apple 3 years before that. So, I bared the taste and had two apples. Each grade lined up in boys and girls of each grade. Ms Sherard (If that's how you spell it) said to run on her marks to Mr Malvern on the other side of the field. She said the first 5 to the other side would form the relay team (4 by 1, plus a backup). When we were about to start I was really nervous. We lined up and I knew I had to beat just two people: Mohib and Ryan. Besides me, Tyler and Danial were jostling for space. Later the later would say that Tyler pushed him. She said "Go!" and we took off. I was never a strong starter but that day, the good lord gave me the strength to get ahead early. On both sides of me, halfway through the sprint, I saw Ryan and Mohib to both sides of me. I continued to push. Out of nowhere, I remember Mohib falling behind. It was just Ryan and I running before the mob. It felt kind of like an anime because it was just the two of us, running side by side on an open field. At the last second, I with my longer legs pulled out ahead of him and won the day.
That was fun.
2. When I was about 3 years old. My cousin came over. My other older cousin taught us to step on snails in the backyard. I don't know why this memory is so vivid to me, but it just was. My sister and one other kid were there (Maybe another cousin), and we were abusing the poor creatures and destroying their homes and lives. I look back at how terrible that was. Kids really do lack a lot of empathy. Anyway, soon after my sister couldn't take it and decided to "tell on us". My cousin, the little rebel laugh and said that "I don't care". I honestly don't remember what happened afterwards, but this memory is something I'll never forget.
3. In kindergarten, I was early to the fact that I liked girls. There was one girl that I liked. Being the Naive kid I was, I told my mom and sister about it. They thought it was so cute and said to tell her. For days I thought thinking about it, until one day during playtime, I asked her to play in the rocket ship (some cardboard boxes cut and fitted to look like a rocket ship) with me. When we were in there, I quickly said that I liked her. She said "what?!" and hit me on my shoulder (not hard). I don't really remember what happened after that. However, I did tell my mom and sister about it later, the whole story. My mother's expression changed when I told her that she hit me, and at the time I didn't know why, but things never escalated much after that. Rejection being so deep seeded in my history, it's only right that I put my first one up here.
Thanks for your time. Please comment, and reblog.

30 Day Challenge Day 19
NOTE: Maybe I’ll more to this later, but since I won’t have as much time later on, I can’t allow these post to fall too far behind. That being said, this will be a mini post. Day 19: If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
I would live where ever I felt the most at home. If you’re talking about a literal place on a map that I could point to, it would probably be either Vancouver, Forest Hill in Toronto, maybe san Francisco so I could get a job in the tech industry. Sorry again. Smiles*
30 Day Challenge Day 18 (Late)
Day 18: What has been the most difficult thing you have had to forgive?
One time I was younger, my sister and I got into a bit of an argument. Well, a big one. we both ended up with scratches and bruises. My sister would never come at me when I was ready, she would wait until I left and trash my room. So there was one time where my room was put in such a state, that it really that I really nearly broke down.
When times were hard at school, I would go into my room and escape on my game cube or PSP (Playstation Portable). When I got to my room after school, there I found my PSP broken on the floor and I couldn’t take it. I ran down to the 4th floor where my aunt lived and I stewed for hours. Honestly didn’t think I could ever forgive her. We didn’t talk much for months. It was around then that she stopped going to school. So I could wake up at 5:30 for basketball practice and she wouldn’t be home until 12ish and so it wasn’t hard.
I know it must seem silly to be annoyed for so long, about only a game, but 14 years old Andrew was really taken aback. I didn’t forgive her until years later. But I still bring it up, so maybe it doesn’t count.
Anyway, thank you for your time again.

30 Day Blog Challenge Day 17
Day 17: What’s thing you most wish you were great at?
Plain and simple. I wish I knew what I wanted in life. I wish I didn’t stall at the store deciding what I wanted to buy. I wish I was great at knowing myself better in general. If I knew that, I could use my second best talent of working hard to get what I needed. Sad huh?
30 Day Blog Challenge Day 16
Day 16: What are your 5 greatest accomplishments?
1. First 1k: When I took my first full year off from school to work full time at a large department store, I managed to save up 1000 dollars plus Canadian. When the paycheck that made all that possible came in, I checked my bank account online, jumped up and down a couple of times, went on my knees and thanked the lord, then called my best friend. 1000 may not be a lot to some people, but when you've never been in a situation where you could really save that much money, it's honestly one of the best feelings ever.
2. Buying my laptop: In the year after that when I just started going back to school, I used up a great portion of my saved up funds to buy a new laptop (yes the same one that gave me trouble for half a year). It's a huge accomplishment, because since I started working way back in grade 11, it was the main reason I put up with so much crap at work. No matter how bad situations got, I would just think to myself, "you're doing this for your laptop". For some odd reason, every time I was going to buy one, the good lord sent some other "duty" my way, so I couldn't. Getting it was a symbol of the hard work I put in for 4 years plus. 3. Pain in the storm: The title of my first really good short story, that I actually completed. Before that, I had been trying to get out some really weird stories and I was given an assignment from my English professor to write a short story, based on a personal event/experience. When I finished the first copy, I knew I had something special. Not because it took me that whole Sunday before class. Not because I finally wrote something that others could understand to edit for once. No, it was because it was the first story that truly came from the heart. Go find it on Wattpad in a week or two, last minute edits and all.
4. Leading a team to win: In grade 9, I was on a really low ranking rep ball team and I was late for a game. The game was against kids 1 year below us so I wasn't really excited. That being said, I was late. When I got there, the game had already started. I quickly changed and my "Coach" put me in the game. We were down by 11 in the second quarter (out of 4), and when I came in I yelled, played D-fence and coordinated our run and gun offence to win the game by 10 points plus. I got so out of control that the refs said they would give me a technical foul if I yelled while another player was shooting again. But it was that fire that got us the win. The other team's coaches even admitted that themselves.
5. I honestly don't have a fifth one. Maybe someone that know me well would be able to help me out with this one, but I doubt it. Maybe when I get my licence finally, I'll be able to put it here. Until then...

Day 15: If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a sloth. Why? because no one ever tells a sloth to “hurry up” or you’re late. No, they’re allowed to work at whatever pace they feel like.
It’s also a very smart animal to choose: They don’t have many predators and rarely get angry. Their diets are very natural and in abundance. On top of that, they live for a really long time, I would also like to live for a long time.

30 Day Blog Challenge Day 14
Day 14: Describe 5 strengths you have.
In all honesty, I don't really feel like these are really strengths, but I need to put down something.
1. Remembering Characters and Plot: No matter how long since I've read, watched, or heard anything I seem to remember it years later. This is a pretty useful skill when you consume as much media as I do. I can watch a series years before I watch season two, and I'll remember most everything about the plot.
2. Keeping my cool: Now I don't claim to be a level headed thinker at all time, I'm too easily made nervous for that. However, I am really good at staying calm when I'm being goaded into losing my temper. It comes in handy at work and social situations. My rhetoric is politician level. Years of living with my short-tempered sister have given me the ability to completely delete unnecessary emotions.
3. I'm really good at choosing friends: Although I don't have very many, I have a good sense of who's right for me. So much so that we've barely ever had drama or infighting amongst us, besides people being mad about little things like who's turn it is to pay for drinks. I don't like drama so it's a good thing.
4. Running for the bus: If there was an Olympic games event for catching public transit in a downtown Toronto rush hour crowd, I would be on the podium every day.
5. Falling Asleep: It's something that I trained myself to do. Whether it's on the bus after work or in the middle of the night after a long video game session, I can sleep whenever I feel like it. I just need my music. I've trained myself to fall asleep with my headphones on listening to certain songs on my phone. There are two in particular that work really well for me. ^^
5. a) Kanye West - White Dress
5. b) Drake - From Time ft. Jhene Aiko

30 Day Blog Challenge Day 13
Day 13: Describe 5 weaknesses you have.
1. Green eyes: Ok so with this, it's just a little funny actually. When I see green eyes on women I just get ridiculously distracted. Even if they have a tint of hazel or grey in them, I just can't stop looking. Sometimes I admit it probably looks really creepy. Not too long ago I was drinking at a friend's house (no I don't drink often), but I was just completely enthralled a pair of greenish eyes. It's a weakness that I'm love and hate.
2. Big flying bugs: Too many years of watching nature shows, as a kid, about exotic wildlife, has turned me into a bug-fearing man. Not the regular house flies or little spiders, but the creepy one's that perch on your wall for hours, until you think it's a weird spot, only to have it disappear randomly. Or the thoughts of insects gaining intelligence adequate to take over the world with sheer numbers. It might seem more like a fear, which it is, but I'm easily swayed to leave an area because certain infestations.
3. Peanuts: If I was a villain in a popular comic book series, my "Ultimate weakness" would be peanuts. In real life, it's still nuts. I'm allergic, so I guess that works.
4. Someone faster and stronger than me: It really lowers my self-esteem when I'm up against someone on the court who's faster and stronger than I am, because that means I have to come up with different ways to win.
5. Internet disconnections. Most my skill with computers and technology comes with my amazing ability to know what words to type in, to get the best search results when I research things. That is all nullified when the internet connection cuts out.
So there are my top 5 weaknesses. Sure there are way more, but I thought I'd pick one from each of major aspects of life. I've been procrastinating these post again. Promise to try harder. Thank you for the support from my now and future reader.

30 Day Blog Challenge Day 12
Day 12: Describe a typical day in your CURRENT life.
I apologize for the short post, but this is going to be fast.
The first thing I wake up and put contacts in or my glasses on. After I make my bed and put on a YouTube video to listen to. I go make breakfast and while I'm eating I read/listen to the daily bible verses and read the daily bread. Then I play League of Legends, watch anime, watch the news, read and write something. Then I have a late lunch and get ready to go to the gym. After some procrastination, I leave. I get there and work out for 1-2 hours and leave. I stop off at a store or restaurant because someone in the house will always call me asking me to pick up something in the store. After I get home I'll start listening to my most recent audio book and get some dinner. Then I'll talk with my mom and granny for a bit. Play some games and listen to some YouTube stuff, maybe watch some more anime, before I shower. When I'm done, I'll get ready for bed and get something warm to drink. Then I'll take out my contacts or remove my glasses and pray. Lastly, I'll put on my headphones, start my "Light Read" playlist and fall asleep.
If you like what I do, please share, like, follow and reblog.

30 Day Blog Challenge Day 11
Day 11: Describe 10 pet peeves you have.
I'm not entirely sure that I have 10 pet peeves, but I'll try my best.
1. Being Ignored: By far this is the most annoying feeling to me. whether over the phone, digitally or in person, being ignored drives me up a wall. It's so bad that there were a few occasions where women did that ignoring thing to me and I got so fed up that I cut them off. Only to find out 5 years later that they liked me. I'm not sure why, but it's by far my biggest one.
2. When I save a particular morsel of food or snack, and someone in my house eats it. It sets me off my rocker a bit when I'm hungry.
3. Forgetting something really important at home on a day where your can't be late.
4. Missing the bus I have to catch, not because you weren't there on time, but because the driver didn't turn to see you. Choosing to drive off without looking both ways. Or even worse, pretending not to see me and starting to drive off right before I run in front then they tell me "Man I could have hit you, be careful." AS I APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE When I as right there yelling the whole time.
5. When someone doesn't stop eating peanuts when I tell them that I'm deathly allergic.
6. Being cut off (dropped as a friend or significant other) without knowing why. Just like being ignored except I actually care a bit, because of my curiosity.
7. Being accused of doing something that I didn't do.
8. Being spoken down to by someone who doesn't have the right to do such a thing.
9. When people don't trim their nails before playing basketball. I always end up with arms covered with cuts from the unkempt hands of such fools.
10. Being snapped on for no reason. When I'm trying to calm someone down and they just burst out angry at me without cause.
