I personally like calling it “Zebrina” because it sounds like “zebra” which references the stripes on its leaves. But like. A magic zebra you cannot fucking get rid of because it’s aggressive like mint is.

There are zebrinas of many species ^_^ a lot of the stripey cultivars get it. My favorite is alocasia zebrina.

I am pro calling plants by their full names. I think it's somehow both formal and respectful, but also intimate. So, I like "tradescancia zebrina," myself. Or "tricolor" or "nanouk" or whatever one it is.

This exact view here reminded me of "When Marnie Was There"!!! I could quite picture Marnie waving at me from one of those windows.

There were some cute woodworks, such as these fox and owl carved in a bench.

Small river! A few seconds before taking this picture a horse was passing by. You can't tell from the picture but I was on a bridge. I like bridges.

Although the daffodils hadn't sprung yet, I saw with great pleasure this bush full of flowers. There were also lots of snowdrops here and there, which made me feel quite excited about the idea of Spring finally coming.

Lastly, a nice view of the castle.
