Ford Falcon XG Longreach Outback Ute, 1995. A specialised version of the Falcon pickup designed for serious off-road and rural applications, with heavy-duty suspension, increased ground clearance (200mm), and a 126-litre long-range fuel tank. Powered by Ford Australia’s 4.0 OHC straight-6, it came with a unique Hydra-Trak limited-slip differential, a locally developed viscous coupling unit that improved traction of the rear-wheel-drive truck in slippery conditions. It was a marketing move to inject interest into the ageing XD-platform-based ute (dating from 1979).
It might look pretty and cute, but the supercharged 𝐘𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐳 absolutely RIPS.
Thought a Starlet was just a cute little hatch?
Meet this slammed-out 1989 EP71 chopped, body-dropped 4 inches, left-hand drive swapped, shaved engine bay, and tucking 17" Selbachs on hydros.
Built solo by a 20-something dude… in the back of his workplace garage.
