Whew! I am finally done with my semester and I have a little 2 week break before my summer course starts. Today I’m gonna be working on drafts and getting them queued up because I’m getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning. Hopefully by the weekend I’ll be back to forming coherent thoughts besides “Ouch, my jaw hurts” and be able to enjoy my break by working through a ton of my drafts. I’d like to thank everyone whose been so very patient with me while finals took over my life. Hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to getting back to rping with you all!

-vague whining noises about my end of semester workload- I’m sure most people have noticed that I’ve not been around for rping very much lately but I am finally getting to see the light at the end of the tunnel that is my monster of a term paper so after this coming week I can FINALLY get back to working on my drafts and rping. I guess this is my sleep deprived rambling way of saying I miss you guys and I’ll be back soon.

Just a heads up that I will be scarce for at least the rest of this week as I will be finishing a 20 page term paper this weekend. After that hopefully I will be more active and have time to actually work on drafts instead of just thinking about them at inappropriate times.

Measurements: Length overall 10 3/8 in. ( 26.34 cm) Length blade 7 3/8 in. ( 18.72 cm) Width of blade 0 7/8 in. ( 2.21 cm)
Near Eastern blades were highly valued in Europe, and many fine examples were exported and mounted with European hilts. In this example, the Ottoman blade has been fitted with a hilt and scabbard damascened with gold arabesques of oriental inspiration.
The blade is inscribed in Persian (one of the languages of the Ottoman court): "It is a dagger since it attempted [to take] the life of the unfaithful lover. My Turk took it [wrapped in gold] and bound it to his sash."
