For The Disbelievers In Magick
About 3 months ago I casted this spell on my tomato plant using leftover coffee grounds ( enchanted), that my tomato plant would be producing tomatoes till the first snow. Well guess what? Today ( October 31 ) we received our first snow! This is my tomato plant today.
Magick is real!
Satazzard's Return
Sorry for my long absence. I am back.
Advice that I could've used hearing-
to beginning witches, you will probably find it more helpful to focus your interests and energy than to skim the surface of a bunch of different fields. just pick one thing or a few things and zero in on that, and delve deeper into it
Satazzard's Home Protection Ritual
This is my home protection ritual. It's a little more complex than most of my rituals.
Disclaimer: While I love doing magick whenever I can, you also need to use your common sense.
What you will need:
Ground Sage
Ground Cinnamon
Basil Leaves
Table Salt
Rosemary Leaves
Now mix your potion together, then charge it with your intention. Next you will need to make a sigil for " Protection & Defense ". Here is mine:
Charge it by staring at it for some time till you have like a day dream sensation, then while staring at it visualize your home or sacred space being protected by walls and gates. The sigil is charged.
Now place your potion on top of the charged sigil, also get a black candle and a Clear Quartz crystal. Set it up like this:
Now light the candle and turn out the lights. Next, stare into the candle light and visualize again your home or sacred space being protected by walls and gates. Put yourself in a mental state of where you feel perfectly safe and secure. Stay like this for 10 minutes or until you feel the sigil has charged the potion.
Now go outside and cast the potion with your fingers around your home or sacred space saying " The potion is cast, no harm, no evil shall come near " 3 times.
Finally say " so shall it be ".
Hint: When you visualize try to make the visualization as detailed as possible. Blessed be!
Also yesterday I made sun water and I charged my Clear Quartz crystal.
So yesterday I was filled with so much energy and I was just in a witchy mood. So I decided to cleanse my witchy tools.

Witch Advice I
Spells
I know that maybe casting spells, for beginners, can be quite overwhelming. You might experience fear of messing it up, fear of some spiritual backlash and so on.Â
I want to say to you what would say to my younger witch self. You don´t have to overcomplicate spells in order for it to work. In fact, the most complicated it might feel to you, less likely it is to work because your energy is going to be scattered.Â
Now, don´t get me wrong. I´m all for trying new things and I totally think you should get out of comfort zone and try things out. However, you don´t have to do things in a certain way, because someone told you so, or you read it in a book.Â
Maybe you are a person who likes cooking, perhaps focusing on cooking spells is easy for you and it seems to work. Then, why not do it? Maybe you are someone who likes to draw, why not adapt sigil magic, mandala or talismanic magic into it and make it your own kind of spell? Perhaps you play an instrument or you sing, why not create a chant for cleansing you home, blessing an object or for another purpose and make it into a song? There are so many ways of casting spells, other than the most common ones you will find on books and on the internet, that I could literally write a book on it.
You don´t have to do all sorts of spell and bring several elements and complicated rituals into it. The more relaxed you can be with your spell casting, the better it is.Â
Maybe you are not into color magic, or you don´t know enough to add it to your spells. In that case, you don´t have to use it. For instance, you don´t need to get 10 different candle colors, white ones work fine for any purpose. Perhaps, you actually don´t like candles or can´t use it where you are, then don´t use it. Your spells won´t be less powerful because of it.Â
Basically, what I´m trying to say is pick the objects and cast the spell in a way that you feel good about it. Spells are ways to put you in a mode of cocreating your desires into reality, it´s not the spell itself or the objects that hold the power, it´s you! Spells are supposed to be fun and make you feel empowered/ energized. If you are not feeling that maybe you should change your spell in a way that makes you feel more comfortable and joyful. Of course, the first times you might feel a little bit nervous and it´s okay, it´s normal to experience some anxiety when trying something new. But you should be able to feel an excitement underlying the anxiety.Â
And when you are trying things out, don´t be so hard on yourself. Everyone is different, you just have to try a little differently next time. Try to learn to listen to your intuition on that one.Â
Disclaimer: the only time you should follow the guidelines strictly is if you work with Goetia.Â
I'm at the point where I feel very comfortable with casting my own spells. Love the knowledge and advice you give.
Hey, uhm well i want to start in witchcraft but i donât know how, can you help me? :((
Hi, there! Hopefully, I can help you with some tips.
Read
First and foremost books will be your best friend on this subject. Witchcraft can be a complex topic, because there are many things that can be related to it, as well as many points of views. So, I think it´s important to get all the perspectives you can. However, most books will tell you to do things in a certain way and that is not the entire truth of what witchcraft can be. Stil,, it can be good to read a variety of authors so you get all these point of vies, maybe you will identify yourself with one of these and become part of that.Â
On another hand, witchcraft is a practice, not a religion, and seeing it under this perspective you can create your own path. So you can get all that knowledge and apply it in your own way.Â
There is no book I recommend on witchcraft that I approve 100 percent. That´s why I reinforce the idea that reading as many as you can, might be better. Anyway, some authors that have written beginner´s book, more or less friendly are: Laurie Cabot (The Power of the Witch); Scott Cunningham, any of his books are interesting, he has a nice voice as a writer, it´s fun to read his books; Christopher Penkzac, he has some interesting books as well.Â
Don´t take any of these books so seriously, read it with an open mind. Scott Cunningham particularly wrote from a Wiccan point of view in his books(which is a religion that practices witchcraft. Wicca has been the greatest influencer on modern witchcraft), just keep in mind that there are different and divergent point of views. These authors I cited are just a few, read on many authors as you can.Â
How to get startedÂ
Having said all that, witchcraft is a practice, and as such it implies you have to craft. So here goes a few things you can do to get yourself started from day 1.Â
Nature:
Try to get closer to nature, take walks on woods if that´s possible to you. Start tracking the moon phases, the seasons and notice how the energy changes, how it affects you. Read on these subjects particularly. You can have some plants in your home (if you can), try to feel their energy, notice their cycles.Â
Meditation
: this is what I particularly think is the most important thing because it will work your concentration power, and that´s the foundation to be able to cast spells and well, basically do anything else. It´s this practice that will help you to be able to feel the energies.Â
Energy Work:
alongside meditation, you should learn on energy work to get your creative energy to awaken and start to develop it.Â
Know thyself:
This is a must for any spiritual path you decide to take, and even if in the end, you decide these things are not for you, learning about yourself will help you to grow as a person. This advice has been given throughout the ages, even by the greek philosophers. This work is extremely important because the power to do magic is inside of you. However, you need to develop your own energy field and learn what works for you and what doesn´t, it´s different for everyone.Â
Journal:
another must do, in my opinion, is journaling. I don´t know if you like writing or not, but journaling has some serious benefits. You can take note on the things you are learning because there is a ton of stuff and it´s difficult to keep it fresh in your mind. However, for me, what journaling most impacts is self-growth. It´s important to take notes on what you learn about yourself so you can adjust and make things for you.Â
More on reading: So, if youâre really interested in developing yourself I recommend Initiation into Hermetics by Franz Bardon.
For anyone reading this post, if you are really serious about developing your abilities try this book, it´s gold. Â
Ethics
Even though, I´m totally on the side of creating your own path, doing your own thing, I think ethic is very important. I don´t say it to scare you that some bad thing will happen to you. I say it from a human point of view.Â
Researching on the occult and its many subjects, you can learn a lot, with that comes power and with power comes responsibility. We must use our knowledge and power for the greater good. If everyone just decides to do whatever they feel like, we won´t have a functional world (it barely functions today and this is because of all the wrong use of power).Â
We are young (at least, I guess most of you are, but if some of you aren´t you still have the power) and we can change the world by changing ourselves, even in small things that don´t seem to really affect the greater scheme.Â
Society is like a big puzzle formed by each and everyone of us. We can´t affect directly the whole puzzle, but we can move our piece in the right place (that means do what we can for the greater good). And one by one we can affect one another and bring the pieces together.Â
I love candle magic.
